I convinced Aria to make the Limit Holdem heads up machine or (Bot) have the option to play as high as $200-$400... I hate bots so its fun to destroy it. =)

Be careful Mike, the bot has a lot more confidence now after pummeling our mutual friend for a smallish number after the mix game broke.

that thing tilts me... calls me down with second pair(or worse), then folds to a tiny value bet on the river on a dry board.

it's the devil.

Is this the HU Texas Holdem machine? People are still playing those things after the discussions about it?

I played it for about 45 minutes this weekend and won 50 bets. So its definitely beatable.

IIRC previous threads correctly, people (in limited sample sizes) who have beat up on it think its exploitable, and people who are down to it thinks its rigged against them, so he might not be levelling.

When people start talking about how beatable this game is, I like to point them to this post of screenshots I made:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...5&postcount=98

It includes calling 25o into AK8 rainbow and hitting runner runner wheel, calling 68o into KKQ and hitting runner runner trips. Laying down AJ PF when I have AQ. Laying down the 2nd nuts when I have the nuts etc.

I covered this game a lot on my blog when it first came out and have hundreds of screenshots that are mind boggling. At first I thought what a great game. Then I saw hundreds of hands like the ones I screenshot where no real player makes the plays the bot makes. Maybe people are beating it, but it is hard to imagine how when the bot knows to lay down the 2nd nuts on you or not draw to the river with top set in a limit game but when I have missed he has called me down with as bad as ten high and been right.

Some food for thought Mike:
1) yelling outrageously ignorant things at machines can't be as much fun as it is with real humans
2) there will be less of an audience for your antics
3) will the machine accept your backer's player card for hotel credits?

I'm assuming the game fairness is ensured and audited through the Nevada Gaming Commission? Some of those hands seem really really strange.

But, maybe I'm reading the screenshots wrong somehow, but the last half of them seem to be incorrect laydowns by the bot, like folding the pure nuts vs. a set, folding TT vs 77 on QQ4Q4, etc.
