Interesting post soLost but imo galfond is the biggest explodonk ive seen. His math may be awesome but every decision i saw him make in his vids were all gameflow based etc. He even made decisions based on factors that was not affecting him directly . (pulled a big bluff solely because villain was more likely to fold because he was in a big hand against another opponent on other table he railed)...that was his reasonings atleast ... Enjoyable vids tho but not so awesome game theory wise those ive seen atleast.

imo the diference between guys like eg durrr and nanonoko..nano can easily play longterm ev decisions, cuz he cant adapt to gameflow like durrrr, so he base his decisions pretty much like " oh this guy cbets 25% so if i shove my draw itll be x equity...." durrrr iveys etc goes by gameflow and insticts more like " i think he is trying to bet me here to make me think that he got xs hand and in this particular spot i m shoving my 84..."
its like they play like donks (hgh) but thats the way to exploit zxy (looool post abc xd) players

sigh..., nanononoko is a 24 tabler, none of the players in the post i responded to mentioned nanononoko or any random multitasking crusher.

WARNING, USELESS NVGTARD STRATTALK BELOW

To elaborate my point, i believe galfond IS more of a explo-player than most of his nosebleed opponents, ofc everyone on this level is adjusting to the gameflow and adjusting to opponents adjusting but that does not necessarily mean that they are derailing from game theory b/c the adjustment in question might be game theory optimal against that particular opponent based on the information you have, however certain stuff he pulls is pure explo-play and IMO he does it alot. (one example posted in my earlier post. backtrack if you didnt read.)

If i am talking out of my ass now then im sorry, ya,... ill ship a warning text just in case.

He lost 390k to Ivey today or yesterday? If he lost another 390 to Ivey and is still up that's insane.
04-06-2010 , 12:14 AM
lol some guy just gave his telephone number to peter eastgate at table on pokerstars

now it "keeps ringing once and hanging up.." lmao
04-06-2010 , 12:19 AM
I think Durrrr lost to Ivey but he was up against Zee HU and aparently made profit either on mixed tables or 6m 100-200 PLO.
04-06-2010 , 12:45 AM
yeah i think durrrr made decent profits in the mixed games. when i last watched he was on 9 tables with over 1 million and seemed to be doing well in general, could have made alot more after i stopped watching. also beat ZJ for like 180k and i think ike for maybe 20k.

btw ashman vs urnotindanger 4 tables 100/200
