She got AK allin and quote from blog: "He turns over QJ offsuit! I can't help myself... I go 'WHAT????!?!?!?!' cuz I was so surprised... Obviously I'm delighted that he called until the Q rolled off on the flop and I bricked the turn and river. I got really mad... don't ask why, but I had been on a really bad run for a loooong time and I flipped out."

LOL. I know she's one of the best tourney players, but this just shows what an incredible heater she's been on! With all the juice in the pot I'd be delighted if he folded, at least not delighted for a call

Bad luck is relative, so you can tell how well a player's been running by what level of bad luck gets them angry.

I don't consider a beat "bad" unless A) my opp flopped no outs (i.e., had to go runner-runner to win) and B) called (not made) a significant bet.

Pre-AI with AK vs QJ isn't even on my bad beat radar.

I envy those who think losing to a flush draw, or losing with pre-AI overpair, is rough.

my guess is she probably got "mad" about the AK vs QJ because she lost to a drooling ******, not so much the %s. losing an 80/20 in some standard spot is fine for me, but i'm considerably more annoyed losing a 60/40 when the other guy's play in the hand is awful. sucks losing to a clueless player who you know is just going to donk off all your chips to someone else

so I reraise with 64 suited UTG + 1, flop a flush draw, check behind on a flop he's given up on, so I can make the flush that gives him a set too, then we're all in!! yay! he's drawing dead, what was that guy thinking?

I don't get this part:

If someone knows you have AK why do they fold everything besides KK and AA?

QQ is 56.05% against AK
JJ is 56.14%
TT is 56.17
99 is 54.598%
88 is 54.9%

If you play tournaments and are not delighted to get all in with AK vs QJ then there is some serious holes in your game.

Ummmm, Durrr went to WSOP last year as well before he was 21. He wasn't able to play. He was staking a bunch of players and wanted to be close to his investments. Perhaps Annette is doing the same. Just a thought.

Goodwin's analysis is ridiculous. A good player won't have AT/AJ or small pairs there. If he claimed to put her on exactly AK I would have had more respect for his statement, but then why not take a flop in position to see if an A or K comes.
