He had the winner's t-shirt they casino gave him and the whole deal. When I say "mentally challenged", I am not joking around. Think Corky on that old tv show on ABC, maybe two ticks smarter. This guy lived in a group home, for real. Well, he called any bet made. at any time, including the river once with the nut low, and it wasn't a wheel. He played for 4 hours in a 200 cap game and lost around 1900 bucks, before security pulled him out of the game. So Beal plays NL, depending on how many hours he put in, about as well as a guy from a group home.
Or he pisses 100K away like he's some kind of multi-billionaire or something.

I was waiting for that response. Solid Wynn 5/t grinders are pretty good poker players, Beal sat deep, some of them decided it was a good spot to cover him (or at least sit pretty deep), and he got crushed. Does that add up to a very high likelihood of AB being a good poker player?

Of course that is all predicated on the story even being true.

Yes, because there are so many successful people who love handing a few guys wearing casino giveaway baseball caps and t-shirts, who haven't showered in 4 days like a hundred dimes. I would rather play Keno at the Bellagio and have them get it than those rats.

You are clueless and obv never played the 5/10 at the Wynn. 100 dimes to him is like an actual dime. He's in Vegas on vacation gambling. Plenty of successful, wealthy people gamble -EV and don't give a **** about the money. Uncapped or not, 5/10NL is his "drinking" game.

Or he tried his hardest and lost. I wasn't there; I don't know, but to say he plays poker like a person afflicted with Down's just because you are being results orientated from a sample of probably less than 100 hands means maybe you should be the one looking for a group home.

For instance just off the top of my head I'll conjecture that a sixth power plus a seventh power plus an eighth power can never equal a ninth power. Try proving or disproving that.
I'm probably missing something but:

0^6 + 0^7 + 1^8 = 1^9

So Andy has a net worth of 11 Billion $ and plays a LHEHU with 10M$ per 100BB.

That's 110 Buy ins.
Nitty BRM ITT.

..

(Or maybe 100 BI is advised for this level, I don't know, didn't play LHE for a week or so)

FWIW. If he uses his 11B$ as a bankroll and plays a nitty 500 BI BRM for tourneys, he still had to find a game that costs 22M$ in BI. One Drop must be boring as hell. It's like a 10k$ BRM player only could play mtts in the 3-5$ range.

I'm just saying Beal's a recreational player, given he's playing overrolled all the time.

No one ever uses buyins in limit holdem for BRM; we use big bets. Maybe you missed that this week, and an average buyin, even in HUHU, is nowhere close to 100 big bets.

Why would he use his complete net worth as his bankroll? I seriously doubt he got to the position he's in by being a typical 2+2 degenerate who uses their life roll to gamble with.

Even if he was playing 50M/100M, he would still be a recreational player.

It's 1100 buy ins by your assumptions, and it isn't all liquid. It was fitting that doyle brunson was there because he is where I first heard the saying about "it isn't fun unless it hurts when you lose"
