Thanks for your posts itt. The ignorant troll saying weed kills ur brain was tilting me. That documentary is really good, I actually had a mini-freakout because of how eye opening it was.

Haters are sock puppet drones.

Cannabis is one of the deepest influences of corporate corruption in history. In many ways it is a perfect example of bought and paid for legislation to protect corporate interests over citizen benefit. http://www.jackherer.com/thebook/

With any luck Al will receive a presidential pardon from a great candidate like Ron Paul or Gary Johnson.

that was the reason to ban it at that time, nowadays it's old people in power who are afraid of any sort of drugs (or politicians who basically work for corporations). they don't know there are HUGE differences between the various kinds of drugs. for instance, meth, alcohol or crack are highly addictive destructive drugs while marijuana or mushrooms are psychedelic drugs which aren't addictive(by the body) and can actually give life an extra dimension where you can learn from. those old people should smoke once in a while so they wouldn't be such brainwashed scared monkeys.

It was weed, not heroin.

the reason they had 40 pounds of pot and 90 plants is precisely because it is illegal. i think it's a silly law. i also think that they took a risk in order to make a profit and that profit was inflated because of the law. can't feel bad for them for getting busted when they wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't illegal.

I got nothing against this guy or weed, marijuana is legal in California.

Just tired of seeing poker get negative media coverage. It'd be cool to see poker get some really positive press right now, but maybe I'm being naive.

Of course, But I was going with a maximum sized plants you can grow indoors..

They only get so big indoors.. Thus my estimation.

you're saying the maximum is ~1 2/3 oz per plant then, which is just silly

I am sure it will work out for the best. If nothing else, by the time he comes out of jail in a number of years, he'll be completely adapted to society again.

Al was mostly famous for the deepest tan in the entire world, would sunbathe 8 hours/day at the Golden Nugget and play cards 16 hours...not sure he even bothered to rent a room. Always had a pretty girl on his arm. Definitely into sportsbooking, played at the Mayfair and rumor has it informed on some moderately big bookies to save his own ass.

90 plants can yield a whole hell of a lot more than 5 pounds. I'd expect to yield at least 15-25 lbs at least from 90 plants, grown well and given enough room obviously.

OMFG who cares how much 90 plants could potentially be, what does it offer towards the story? Lots of dick size comparing ITT IMO. "No i know more" "No i do"

Yes, you can feel bad for people when they get punished for a law which is ridiculous. 90% of Americans have smoked pot and its a victimless crime... explain why people spend years of their life in jail for possessing this plant again?
Oh..is it dangerous? Dangerous like alcohol that kills how many US citizens every year or just dangerous because baby Jesus says so?

Hey, I think Al might make a case for the dope being just his personal stash for personal consumption. First off, he says he is old and puffs away and it is hard to get high, plus he feels he has diseases helped by lots of weed. The resaon he has to much is his confidnece in our goverment and the war of drugs. Al things the war on drugs is going so well that right around Christmas, there just won't be anymore marijuama, and there never will be agains thanks to the DEA and their excellent track record. He bought a big future stash as a tribute to our government.

What about his 90 girls?

4% of the world's population (USA) do 65% of the world's hard drugs (Source, BBC, 10/26/11)

Legalize the soft stuff!

Peace!

Why don't you guys email PPA and Fair Play USA to bribe politicians to legalize marijuana? They would be the only brand along with Steve Wynn weed. They could hold the only license and charge $20 a pack plus $5 state tax and $5 federal tax. I mean this is what everyone wants to happen to poker right?
