I watched Al Crux play at the final table of the World Series Of Poker two years ago and he looks like a man who has seen it all - especially the bitter pills that poker can make you swallow. When he was eliminated - I believe he won over $1 million for his troubles - and was being consoled by his wife his eyes simply radiated: "I've seen a lot worse". And it's true, because Al Crux was the victim of the worst bad beat in the history of poker.

He was playing in a high stakes cash game and hadn't won a hand all day. He found pocket Kings and pushed all his money in the middle. To his right another player was getting a massage and wan't really too concerned with the action. He folded. TJ Cloutier was left to act. He called, but the dealer didn't hear him and mucked all the cards together - the discards plus the cards waiting to be dealt out.

There was confusion, and eventually it was confirmed that Cloutier has called. All that could be done was to reshuffle ALL the outstanding cards (leaving only Krux's hole cards and Cloutier's hole cards), including the mucked cards. TJ Cloutier turned over TT.

The flop came KT2. Krux had made top set, and Cloutier had only a single out.

The turn brought the dreaded T (for Krux), giving Cloutier four of a kind. The river was harmless and Krux lost the hand...a pretty bad beat.

But wait, it gets much much worse. The masseuse now pipes up: "My guy had TT as well!" The third player confirmed this. Preflop he had held the other two Tens, counterfeiting Cloutier's hand and leaving him drawing dead, had it not been for the dealer's error.

So, when Al Krux gets knocked out of a tournament it's no big deal. He's been through a lot worse."

If you have 40 pounds of good with another 90 plants, you aren't just surviving.

Guys, trust me on this it wasnt 40lbs of dried, cured and bagged ganj, 90 plants is probably more like 5 pounds dry, the cops weigh it wet with stems and everything and always want to claim a number as high and shocking as possible.

If he doesnt have a record, and there wasnt any guns or coke on premises, he likely will just get 3-5 years probabtion, or a minimal jail sentence, although they are a lot harsher upstate it depends on how big of a dick the DA wants to be. Hopefully he gets a great lawyer, and he wont have to do any real time.
