Usually I just lurk on two plus two, but I just want to say that after reading this thread Admo comes across really first rate. He definitely seems very principled and willing to be his own person.

On the other hand, I have felt for long time that Annie is a low quality person. This situation just confirms that.

Watching this on tv other day and seeing guys like Charles Barkley wearing UB on their shirt nearly made me vomit. How can people still promote a place after all the **** that happened there?

i really think this is the aspect that should be concentrated on by admo and this thread.

as true as all the annie duke/organisors' behaviour may be, this whole personal thing - as exemplified in admo's last gif - really detracts from it. also the ub stuff; the tournament is organised by one of their 'top pro's' so the site was obviously going to be all over it, so why enter it all if the ub association is such a problem?

i understand now that the money is won, admo feels a moral obligation to make sure his donation is used in the best way possible, but all this personal(ity) stuff just makes it all a bit tawdry.

but don't get me wrong, if this unearths that AUFA isn't using its charitable proceeds as well as it can or should be then that's great. But only because it will result in more help getting to the people who need it - not because annie duke may be a flawed character.
