Okay, I looked a bit further to "inform" myself.
1. I think Stacy has done a remarkable business development effort, bringing the Mizrachi Dealer Academy online. That seems a great business move by a real entrepenuer. There is an extensive, complimentary piece on her work online. See,
http://www.hdfmagazine.com/stacy-mat...-entrepreneur/.
Like many entrepenuers, including one running for POTUS, Stacy reportedly tends "to create her own reality". This is a useful trait, when it means someone works hard to build an create a new venture in an nderserved market. However, it does not go over so well when fueled by unswerving denial of demonstrable facts.
I happen to think both the ruling and Stacy's fold were reasonable; however, that is not what creates or denies a perception of a conflict of interest.
2. Why Stacy would insist her disruptive, apparently successful company does not work for the WSOP is odd. Her insistence that a post premised on a belief it does is "ridiculous" seems arrogant.
3. Then there is this, from an admirer:
"What I like about Stacy, other than
her insane enthusiasm to go after her dreams and create her own reality, is that she proves a very viable point"
4. Stacy perhaps thinks deception and denial hold equal value within and outside of poker;
"Stacy: You’re exactly right. Poker and life are synonymous in many ways.
I have found that understanding the aspects of poker and playing it for more than half my life has enabled me to understand life as well – in the aspect that it comes down to key decision making, people reading skills and understanding human nature, both in the conscious and subconscious.
“That it doesn’t matter what your circumstances are, it’s the force, drive and tenacity within us that will determine our results in business, life or poker.”
You have to want to want it, be present and allow yourself to flow in order to problem solve and create positive outcomes.
To be an entrepreneur through all the struggles it will take to get successful you have to be a different animal just like in poker. You can’t give up or see failure as the time to quit. It’s then where you see what you’re made of.
HDF: So much truth to what you’re saying!
Stacy: Also, you have to learn from past errors, surround yourself with people who inspire you to be the best version of yourself and humble yourself to learn from the greats who have gotten to levels you seek"

5. That determination and drive lead her to what seems great success and a bright business future, reaching a written agreement with the WSOP to become its Official training school. What is odd is her knee-jerk denial itt of her accomplishment, perhaps because she thought her bluff would never get to showdown.
The interview specifically addressed the pivot of the Mizrachi Academy into the WSOP's Official Training School and an undeniable perception that her WSOP-branded venture arose from a specific agreement with Caesars:
"HDF: And I’m sure WSOP was excited by what you had come up with?
Stacy: Yeah, the WSOP agreed to meet with us and through those meetings, they got excited with the idea as well.
That was a shining moment for me in my life. We signed and we became the Official school for the WSOP – The longest, most successful and well respected organization in our field."
So, you signed an agreement with the WSOP to become the Official School for them, and they gave you use of their trademark, provide for a branded doman name they own, allow you to feature your WSOP Team, including the WSOP's own Jack Effel,
but your reality can not understand why there might be some perceived conflict when a member of your own WSOP Team has to rule on a situation you are involved in.
Try and "learn from past errors"; a progression of ridicule, deny, deny, deny, ridicule, deny some more, does not constitute representing yourself well in this thread.
The longer this drags out,the more cans of worms may get opened, like the latest convoluted tale of how you knew what "the camera saw" in real time, prior to your eventual QQ fold. (Really ? You made a major decision drawing on what some unknown guy illegally saw and whispered to another, unnamed guy, who whispered to you.... or was there some more reliable basis for the information ? Gaming cares pretty deeply about access to live game information in broadcast situations. Why raise ANY question.)
Fold, You understand that poker and life are synonymous in many ways; most relevantly, you do not have to play every hand to showdown.
Get on with your promising business venture before your compulsion to post further hurts your bright prospects in real life.
