for the kiddie ******s in this thread/forum. chips are better than cash, you know where the thief is gonna have to go sooner or later. chips can be easily marked along the edge if you have a bunch, then you can show the cage what to look out for. 5k chips being cashed are a big deal even at casinos that have tons of them like commerce, they take a clear pic of everyone cashing one. If a square finds your chips they will think they are fake or toys 9 times out of ten, this will never happen with cash. Ive had squares hand me 5k chips ive dropped on accident, there is no way they had any clue what it was.

i wonder why casinos dont number their 5k+ chips. at commerce the number the 100's only. strange.

This isn't the thread to talk about taxes or the government, nor is there any evidence the victim here was evading taxes. Let's keep the tax tarding to a minimum.

Why not? the op is not responding anyhow, and i wonder if the claim is real, because why in gods name would he think anyone on this forum would know/notice/could help with anything when we don't know him[at least i don't] or his friend where the money was stolen from?.

I think it is very strange, and don't know what is and is not true, but i guess it makes no difference, at least not to me, and the op gave no info at all about if the police is involved or not, and if not why?, no i think it is open for debate why the guy had so much casino chips in his house, if the op does not give more info, that is what i think.

GL getting those chips back, u need to examine ure routine with a PI so as to eliminate some ppl & to say who is most likely to be... But u can never be sure until u catch them red handed cashing them in....maybe it could have been a spotter in casino or a friend of a friend. Again be careful what route u take to recover said items. and gl in future endevours.

MAC

pifff to all the haters

he just delivered the message (don't buy suspicious chips, they might be stolen ... call the police and get reward). i don't think he needs to hang around here, to check for tips or to answer 'important' questions. at least the thread is kept on page 1

You are right he did mention the police, my mistake, but i think he should look [the friend that has been stolen from i mean] in his own personal circle, and some info on over what period of time he has taken this chips home, like did he take them home from 1 night of gambling?, or maybe in a weekend , or maybe over a week or month[s] time?.

Unfortunately, for a lot of people, one of the most satisfying aspects of having money is showing it off.

A while back a major strip club owner took some girl he was trying to impress to a public storage locker and showed her like 6 million in cash he had been skimming for his dancer's tip outs over the years. She gets picked up a couple of months later with an eight ball and leads the cops right to it. lol.

Yeah, you would think she would have. This was at the Crazy Horse II in Chicago. I think the guy ended up doing some pretty serious time because of this.

I assumed from his username that OP is Danny Alaei, a pretty well known pro. If so, lots of people who read NVG would know him.
