In HSP season 6 episode 13 doyle and durrr start talking about a 3k/6k plo game, does anyone have any details about this game?

These guys always have their own games. You don't remember Phil Laak chiming in that he doesn't play with them because they played a heap bunch of mixed games and David Grey needled him telling him to learn more games.

Doyle was playing with Howard, Durr, Ivey and the rest of the FTP crew.

Doyle with his superior Omaha skills smashed them.

That's where all the FTP monies went it's common knowledge

thats when they played with Cyril the frenchman..it was 1k 2k 2k 4k and then 3k 6k for like 1 day

they also played super nosebleed chinese poker

Yes I can give details

Its PLO, with 4 cards, the same as what you play on the internets, with a 3k small blind and and a 6k big blind. Thats all i have at this moment.

Look what I found! this is an old video blog with Jean Robert Bellande.

He talks about this 3k/6k game with Ivey and Cyril along with few others at the Bellagio.

Weren't they playing some obscenely high triple draw as well, like 10k/20k limit or 1k/2k pot limit or something

Anyone saw the Durrrr million dollar challenge vs Ziigmund, it was with 500$ and 1k$ blinds, but they upped with a mandatory potbet and pot 3-bet, so effectively playing 3k/9k blinds.

I'm not sure a game of PLO where there's going to be $18k minimum in the pot by the flop plays any different if the min bet post flop is $1k or $9k.

If you didn't think it was limit, why say "its not really if everything after the flop is $500/$1000 is it?". Where would $500 come into it if it wasn't limit? The min bet would still be $1k if it were PLO. Nothing after the flop would be $500, and it's unlikely anyone will be betting the min $1k into an (at least) $9k pot.

But.. please, draw me a picture. I'd like to see this.
