Still fairly steady numbers. 1k PLO was disappointing, but could have to do with it being on a monday compared to a thursday start last year. The size of the 3k NLHE 6max spiked to 1043 entries last year from 810 in 2014 and 807 in 2013, so pretty solid with it reaching similar numbers this year.

A new 2k NLHE event coming up today as well as the 10k HORSE which is usually the largest non NLHE/PLO 10k event.

Only one non American bracelet winner thus far. A far cry from the days of 2011 where I think nearly a third of the bracelets went to foreigners.

A kindergarten teacher binking $500K in the milly maker is a great story.

Also re: the PLO, $1k was not the lowest buyin PLO tournament available this year. I think the $565 hit the size of the $1k field quite a bit.

Now I hope people will realize how stupid it was for WCGRider to bash Mercier by giving him the "bad reg" color tag. Jason would slaughter WCG in any format save for HUNL and I'd lay 10k that Mercier cashes higher than WCG in WSOP. For what its worth, I don't know Jason nor am I a fan of his but he's a beast. There's a reason he's one of the faces of Pokerstar Pro and WCG isn't!!
