Anyone watching the HU?

Button (6 million) raises to 180,000 with AQ
BB (1.5 million) calls with QT

Flop: 9 K 7

BB bets 300k
Button raises to 800k
BB calls (leaving him with 500k)

Turn 9 an river 5 and both streets go check/check

It would be fun to hear what kind of poker experience everyone at the final table had. I mean they play like beginners but have probably played for 50 years+..

Play during the whole FT was incredible bad.
I am 50yrs old myself and i have to say LOL OLDS.

With a field size as big i thought there has to be a semi-competent player at the FT.
How wrong i was.

Winner was the best player, but why did he make a deal with a 80% chip lead?

When the HU was over the two guys were discussing how to settle their deal, cash check or chips, and the WSOP instantly cut off the stream.

They're both standing up by this point. Both drawing at high hands, they discuss who will squeeze first. Galfond ends up with the honors. He leans way over and sticks his face next to the felt to peek, then slams over the case ten, the 10! Galfond improves to quads, and Glantz drops back down in his chair, realizing he has some work to do.

Glantz lifts a corner, trying to find the elusive one-outer. "It's paint..." he says, and then another second later, "Oh my god." He flips over the Q!

Despite running out quads, Galfond gets only his last bet back as a rebate, taking the high half of the small side pot. Glantz wins the high half of the main pot with quad queens, while Buchanan's eight-low gives him the other half.
That is the type of **** that happens at a homegame and you know just got dealt a cold deck. Dealer is Ed Norton type of ****.

So tilting they didn't have a 50k stream. Even more tilting that when I went to WSOP updates it would default link to super seniors event.

Perry Green is a notable name [Got 2nd to Stu in '81 along with numerous bracelets] but didn't recognize the others.

Super Senior final table, although EXTREMELY boring and very hard to watch actually had alot of "old school" talent:

1st Jon Andlovec & Hendon Mob

2nd Rod (Jr.) Parday w/ 2 WSOP bracelets & Hendon Mob

5th Thomas Lock & Hendon Mob

8th Perry Green w/ 3 WSOP Braclets & Hendon Mob

Congrats!

One of Perry Green's bracelets was in lowball draw. It was a 5k event. He won 10k. There were 2 entrants!

His record is very interesting. I, for one, would love to hear/see an interview with him. I'd be amazed if anyone else close to his age has cashed in events every year since 2010.

Interesting, it seems Doyle won the ME that year with 34 entrants and winner take all, whereas some of the earlier events had fewer entrants but 2 or 3 places paid. Perhaps they facilitated chops in those days

I would be interesting to see how the design of the bracelets have changed over the years. I cannot believe they put as much effort into making a bracelet for a 2 man event as they do today..

Would like to see JRB cash in the $50K, but I see a Matusow like blow up going down before the money is reached.

Rooting for Dan Kelly or Chiau Giang in the $50k, hoping Monnette doesn't cash

sauce boss would be cool too but he doesn't really need the money
