joe is a strange guy but hes not disrespectful. he likes to make small table talk occasionally and give a harmless needle every so often. he makes goofy faces and ran hotter than the sun, but just because he doesnt have the ability to get behind a mic and speak to a crowd like martin luther king doesnt mean you should hate on the guy. i dont even particularly like him but he played very well and didnt whine, complain, gloat, or celebrate excessively. so hes OK in my book.

I think everyone is a little harsh on Joe , it's so easy to critisize him for being awkward ect but I think your underestimateing how much of an effect being watched by millions , playing for a **** ton of cash can have on you , would be difficult to act yourself . This isn't a home game with your buddies your playing.

DId you watch the final or no? He was socially awkward and acting weird so why is that bad for me to state that? I said Joe was great but his personality was non existent. The best player won, yes he had a ton of rungood, but he also put relentless pressure on the rest of the table, wasn't particularly exciting, but unedited live poker rarely is. Sincere congrats Joe.

was very surprised to see no light 3-4 bet rips from Buckley and Blumenfield. this seemed like optimal strategy considering Joe's stack/skill. because of their relative passivity the only way these guys were getting doubled up were if Joe were to catch a big cooler

Undoubtedly Joe was the best player at the table and played great. Him and Beckley making heads up was just the straight up death of poker, or Hold'em at least. Such a bad spectacle for the public, if I was you're average Joe American watched Joe steamroll his way to victory with ruthless efficiency would make me **** scared to enter another $10k
