I know a guy at work just like Joe. I pretend I'm busy when he walks by.

He is a 24 year old kid who just won huge amount of money. Not everyone is natural with a microphone. Cut the guy some slack. He is a great player and played better than anyone else at the late stages, while also obviously running better than anyone else.

Look at any 5-10 game at any casino. How many of those grinders would be great poker ambassadors? Not everybody is Daniel Negreanu. So much hate in this thread...Picture yourself up there, would you deliver a great show for the audience? What did he do that was really so wrong also? Made a few borderline jokes?

Noone speaks about Blumenfield, who played horrible poker and during 2/3 of his interview was doing promos. Joe is real, imo. Awkward, real kid, who is a true grinder and a very good player.

I thought that FT was going to be exciting after the first hour but I think it was one of the more boring ones I've watched in the end.

Having such a dominant chip leader getting smacked by the deck just killed it. There wasn't a single momentum shift in 3 days, no big pots, nothing.

I think Joe played it faultlessly and good luck to him but I don't see how it could have been any different. He didn't have one difficult decision in a single meaningful pot that would have had any impact on his chip lead....not even close to one.
