2009 WSOP Main Event Final Table Thread Nov. 7 2009 WSOP Main Event Final Table Thread Nov. 7

Without a doubt the highlight of the night was this little 30 second gem -
Annie -
"Akenhead is in a parlay situation, and obviously we know about conditional probabilities.."

at which point Hollywood Dave chimes in with something about akenheads decision making matrix.

I didn't follow this, but just noticed those two Moon hands. Did anyone talk to him during the break or something as to get some insight? Just watching the replay tilted me.... Both of those are much worse than Phillips' play with AK last year; it's like watching a pub game player playing in a freeroll.

If Ivey is in the heads-up it might be a little bit longer though.
The reason why, sadly, ESPN's HU coverage was so crappy last year was because both players were both non-American and quiet. Also, they had to dedicate an inordinate amount of time to Dennis Phillips. I can pretty much guarantee this year's HU coverage will be longer even if Ivey doesn't make it.

I just got home.

How did Akenhead and Schaffel bust?

I should be moving into the "vip" area onstage for tonight's action. I've been tweeting a bunch of simple play-by-play for the last couple hours (partly b/c my iphone ran out of batteries), but that's really grueling and it sounds like there are plenty of sources for it. so I think I'm going do more pics and commentary. "petefabrizio" on twitter.

Tonight was awesome in a train wreck sort of way. I mean, Moon thought for like 5 mins. when it was 6.5 mil to win a 45 mil pot w/ 2 cards to come. You could kinda tell he was going to fold but when he did it, it was like "GASP!".

Anyone else having trouble with bluff Magazine link?

Hellmuth's reaction to this was classic.

'Nooooooooooooooooooo'

'He folded!'

'Are you kidding me?!'

Darvin playing for 3rd now

"So, what would result to Moon losing that monsterstack?"
"Well, it has to be a cooler of some sort"
