Man I was hoping to see the arab kid get a full drink next season so he wouldn't have to slurp the bottom every episode.

lol wtf is up with all the haters. I thought the show was pretty good. Sure some of the club stunts felt super forced and awkward but if it was just 4 guys sitting at their computers for 22 minutes, the average viewer would turn it off in a hearbeat.

I dunno if they're going to record it themselves and put it on DC, but that would be awesome because there could be more detailed analysis and more focus on the poker. Kinda sucks for the 4 guys that the show didn't get picked up but if they did their own version of the show I think it would be quite a bit more enjoyable.

with the crap that runs on g4 24/7 i dont know why they just dont keep the show? how much can it possibly cost?

Not pushing the WSOP 500K cash in the advertising was stupid on G4s part. To be honest I had no desire to watch a Poker version of every other reality show. Next time go to Costa Rica to that SNG training center and do a "Survivor/HSP Challenge" thing where Leatherass and Durrrr can boot you off the Island.

I also don't think g4 helped the show that much with their promos on g4's most popular show "Attack of The Show." The hosts did promos but sometimes openly made fun of the show.

"2m,2mm. Catchy. Rolls off the tounge." They also made faces and looked bored when the show was brought up.

I hope you get something going. I'm sure we could all agree that 2M2MM could have been so much more, even the ones of us who enjoyed it, and hopefully you find a format which works out better for everyone in the end!

Honestly, G4 sucks.

I love Jersey Shore, and if G4 execs wanted to attract some MTVish audience, 2m2mm was their only chance.

What else do they have going for them? Ninja Warrior? Some news shows about video games?

G4 wanted a bunch of internet super stars, and thats what they got, internet super stars who are social awkward, a little whiney, and a kind of nerdy. I think if they mixed it up with some internet nerdy kids, some live pros, and then a rich trust fund baby party animal as the villain, it would be great.

Since there's so much hate in this thread I'm just gonna say that for the record I liked the show and watched every episode and my girlfriend liked it too.

i really really liked it. obviously hard for it to appeal to a non poker playing audience, but i think they did a good ass job. good luck in whatever non poker related/ poker related stuff all of you guys pursue.

i liked the bloody show, all of my irl friends thought it was ****ing awful and the consensus was "how can these geeks have all that money and not have the mansion filled with hot girls 24/7" they were pretty pissed when we'd have to watch it.

Being a poker player, I felt entitled to watch it. Wasn't great but certainly enjoyed seeing it on every week. Especially when I was briefly mentioned.

I made my roommates watch the show with me. One of them absolutely hated everything about it. Said it was the worst show hes ever seen. Other roommate thought it was "okay" and thought concept of lock-down was hilarious.

Ultimately this show needed to appeal beyond the 2p2/forum community and to people like my roommates (20ish yrs old + enjoy playing poker casually but never played online). Which I feel it did not do. I still applaud the effort and would watch a season2 in a heartbeat, but cant say my friends would.

Cast 4 poker players with distinct personalities - this is TV, people want entertainment. If I'm not mistaken they did not even do any casting? You can't just pick your 4 friends and expect them to be interesting on TV. Nobody wants to watch Brian whining about Ansky sitting in his chair. wtf
