Does it really matter when tourney players have their scores listed, without seeing the actual profit/ROI its useless. Even if you're broke you could of had tourney scores.

not completely fair for the older players as there were less tournaments with a 100k first price back in the days.

The fields were 50 people so they were easier to win, the argument goes both ways...

not so much as there were 1-2 chances per year for that much in a MTT.

What about the total number of tournaments entered and entry fees paid? If you're only playing 10 tournaments a year and averaging 1.50 or whatever, I'd take that over playing 30 tournaments and averaging 2.00.

Before entering this thread I guessed that Barryg had a lot of $100K cashes in a very short time. I did miss Juanda though.

Erik Seidel - 24 - 1988 - 0.875
Phil Ivey - 29 - 2000 - 2.9

The crazy thing about Phil Ivey's stats are that if you throw out his first 100k+ cash, he's averaged 3.5 per year for the last 8 years.

Erick Lindgren is also pretty impressive:

Erick Lindgren - 15 - 2002 - 1.875

But what if they played for a few years before their first score? Surely that throws off the averages somewhat?

Or imagine if he wasn't distracted thinking about the juicy side games going on in over half the tourneys he plays in.
