The Chinese government needs to be stigmatized for what it has done. It covered up what was happening for far too long and still hasn’t provided decent data. Individual and anecdotal instances of racist acts toward Chinese people are reprehensible. They are also very different from holding the Chinese government accountable.

News flash-The Chinese government is bad, and not just for how it handled this. It has been bad for many years and I am all for using this pandemic, it’s origin and the reasons for its rapid spread from Wuhan to ensure the China suffers consequences, severe financial and political consequences.

What you call it is insignificant compared to whether or not China is recognized as the bad actor in this mess, however, as we all know, words matter and there is nothing wrong with reminding everyone of the origin through the use of the term Wuhan or China virus.
