Yeah, well we're oscillating back to now you definitely mean something, but all you've actuall said amounts to "something is different", but if I try to get you to expand on that then you'll retreat back into "I'm not saying a lot really".

You can't have it both ways. You're either saying something trivial or you're not. Given it's not the type of thing that makes a prediction, can be falsified by other examples, or can even be articulated beyond the word "something", I'm stuck thinking it's nothing.

I don't know what more I'm supposed to say. Clearly something is happening.
It was "wait and see" 18 months ago.
And in those intervening 18 months, everything that has taken place has reaffirmed that something is indeed happening. But it is still "wait and see" today as well.
So that's what we're doing. I'm not going to go through a study of UFOs in media with you going back to 1947 to make my arguments. Either you can see that something is happening or you can not see it, and if you cannot, no talking about what is basically ancient history is going to change that.
Like we can just agree to disagree on this.

National Review has an article out today poo-pooing things. And it should be clear that while this is definitely a bipartisan effort, that not all establishment sources are going to be treating it the same way.

TNR (on the leftish side) also ran a pushback piece. Meanwhile Glenn Beck, Fox, CNN, tons of various others all pumping the story.

I was really upfront about what I expect. If we "wait and see" then everyone can look back in a month's time and say I was either clearly right or wrong. I have literally no idea what would do that for you, which means it's not really a claim about the actual world, it's the gut intuition I said you had back on page one.

In fact when we went over the one thing you said would falsify your claim you then agreed that no it wouldn't actually. You have nothing here.

I understand your black and white views though but they aren't interesting to me. The media can sometimes be treated as a monolith but there usually going to be exceptions.

I've already explained how laughable your black and white binary views are of on things and don't see much reason to rehash that here. But the media does have some ability to operate independently-- even the pro establishment ones-- and I posted that article to make that point.
