I almost never approve of attempts at poker analogies in the politics forum, but this made me laugh.

I am quite certain that unless microbet posts here I am the biggest leftie on the forum. I’d put slighted second.

Sometimes I am. Oddly enough.

Still, without objective evidence that the lady is worth shooting someone over, the promise is a bit empty imo.

I don't know. Victor is an actual lefty. No private ownership and all that.

Like Rosenbaum, Huber and Grosskreutz. Weird the left would protest the exoneration of KR for killing quasi-anarchist types who just want to wreck ****. I seriously have doubts that we’ll see any kind of mass protests if KR is acquitted. Might be a few people but nothing to warrant calling out the National Guard.

Uh, hello, I'm right here.

Although since all the real lefties left (see what I did there?), I probably look more left than I am.

Microbet is Rand Paul compared to Victor. Victor is left of Marx himself.

I'm not even a wanna be. I believe in capitalism as regulated by a democratically governed people.

I always quip, the Founding Fathers didn't much like corporations. All this focus on separation of church and state and no one ever mentions that small fact.

OP is what we call a third way democrat. Which is pretty much a republican who likes abortion and gays.

Isn't he a mental health professional ?

He probably always comes across as center in whatever circle he's in.

We need to get him riled up one day and see what's what.

That is a great description IMO. OP imo, shares a lot with the California Dems who intellectually want to see the Homeless, downtrodden do well but will vote against any measure that would change the tax structure or see any change in his backyard thus maintaining the status quo he is vey comfortable with.

Actually I think the 3rd Way Dem exemplar is probably Rococo.

That is near how I would have described myself a few years back but as the Canadian version I also support more of a safety net. When I lived in Alberta they jokingly, but not so jokingly would tell me I should live in British Columbia with all the other Granola (Nuts, Fruits, & Flakes). When I lived in Toronto I would often get that I would be better in the US as a Republican.

Thomas Jefferson would barely recognize the modern corporate form. Limited liability wasn't really a thing until well after The Founding Fathers were all dead.
