The Biden-team has asked Dr. Fauci to become chief medical adviser for the pandemic in his administration, in addition to asking him to keep his position as head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

It's a good choice both politically and medically, dr. Fauci easily being in the absolute top tier of epidemiological experts worldwide and holding considerable public trust.

One of the huge advantages of being President (or President elect) is pretty much everything you do is news. He doesn't have to go on Fox to reach out to Fox viewers.

There are reports from the local news that Biden's motorcade was just (within the past 45 mins) involved in an accident. Obviously there are no details but I sure hope everyone is ok and it was nothing malicious.

The accident allegedly happened on Route 141 and Route 202 in Blue Ball, DE.

Edit...I can't find any links about it and it's being reported as a "Trooper involved crash". I guess time will tell.

Here is an update.

"The woman reports that she believes the trooper was trying to catch up to the motorcade when she was struck. “My mom was coming down 202 to exit towards Augustine cut off. She had a green light. She was going straight and he came out of nowhere and hit her on the driver’s side”, said the woman’s daughter. She was headed home."

It seems like everyone is ok.
