This religious talk and Jesus jokes actually brings up an interesting question.

As long as we are going to go back in time to judge and cancel long dead slave owners, I wonder whether the moralizing left will ever address a certain major religion that was very involved in the historical slave trade, has never officially renounced slavery, and whose founder was a big proponent of slavery and a slave owner himself.
