Thanks. That's certainly a fair point. With so many different opinions on what a politics forum should or should not be or allow, on top of the actual differences in political views, I think it would be impossible to mod in a way that every member felt was appropriate. So Ive never taken offense at disagreement with my mod decisions.

FWIW, outside the Covid thread I don't think I have posted a single thing related to biology that isn't in the average high school textbook. "Females have large, relatively non-motile gametes and males have small, relatively motile gametes" isn't exactly groundbreaking, high-level material. So my education/experience actually isn't particularly relevant when I make simple assertions, which is the majority of my biology related posts.

The wild thing (IMO) about the progressive understanding of biology is that it often denies or confuses basic facts one would find in a high school textbook, not that there is some nuanced misunderstanding that only someone with an advanced degree would notice.
