Mods - I hope this is OK, if not, move to LC or something.

Seems we've got a few chess players here, and some threads end up getting derailed arranging chess games. Figured maybe we could have a thread for it. So far, lagtight and I have played quite a few games, forumula72 and luckbox have expressed a wish to play, and a few other posters have taken an interest in passing. Post here to set up a game! We have been playing on chess.com so far.

Subscribed. I've been playing all the time on the chess.com app for the last couple of months, using engines to review games, and feel like I might be improving for the first time since I was 17-- probably not though.
Working on Benoni/Benko gambit and QD6 Scandinavian lines as black and studying QGD theory as white. Getting high and drinking coffee to start my day then let's play some.

d2 e4 is so god awful at chess that I dropped my queen for him and he still managed to almost lose.

Just to counter the prevailing narrative, what actually happened is that I hung my knight mid-game:

I then proceeded to play the rest of the game down a piece, until Formula sacrificed his queen to avoid a mate in two and eke out a mate in three instead, leading to this position:

But, you know, both sides!

I like the sh*t talking though, that's the spirit. Want another game?

d2_e4 and I have played many times, and he has beaten me several times.

I used to be a USCF rated expert.

He is a tough nut to crack.
