I don't know, it's like there are so many toxic places where you can go troll conspiracy truthers and homophobic creationists. A place where grownups who follow politics can have a semi-adult convo about the day's news is a rare and interesting thing. I'm not sure there's a way to ever really get that back, it's a shame.

What's stopping UP being that? That's a rhetorical question by the way, it's pretty obvious - when the group has no common enemy, it splits into factions that turn on one another. You're fighting against human nature, bro.
