From what little I paid attention, this seemed to be case with everyone there. It is a massive gym, the biggest I've ever seen. And extremely diverse. I haven't ever seen anyone talking to this guy.

I am a Hispanic dude in FL. I grew up in Miami and never experienced any racism there, for obvious reasons. Imagine my shock when I started experiencing it myself in my early 20s when I went to law school in (liberal bastion) Gainesville, FL. Outside of South Florida, Tampa, and Orlando, there is rampant racism, confederate flags, profiling by police, etc. You see it in the bigger cities as well, but it gets really obvious once you wander outside of them.

I don't know about the Aryan Brotherhood, but you are going to see your share of swastikas, confederate flags, racist bumper stickers, and all that other fun stuff if you drive around FL for a significant amount of time. I imagine it's the same for most mid-sized to smaller cities in the United States.

That kind of stuff mostly just exists in the south. You aren't going to find it the South West or Midwest really imo. I can't speak for other regions but I doubt there is too much of it in small town New England either.

Speaking of small town New England, check this out. I found out last year that I have a daughter. The kid is 20 today; today is actually her birthday. She is from "small town, New England".

I've heard from various personal acquaintances that Boston is in the running for most racist city in America. I don't have personal experience, but I personally doubt that it is relegated solely to the South.
