Yeah. I was on phone and wrote something and then tried to change what I wrote and it was a mess. Regardless, even in the species of sexually reproducing animals that are hermaphroditic, there is still only 2 types of gametes, and they are very distinct. There is no continuum.
My original point was there is no continuum of biological sex. It is a binary system.
And this isn't really addressing gender at all, as that is a cultural category system, and hence arbitrary by definition.
