A forum moderated by the two of you would be a treat to watch.

Eadgbe closed a thread This is one of several threads closed due to accusations of racism derailing everything. Why is this allowed? Anyone accusing others of racism should be made to cite or face a temp ban. That way the false accusations would eventually cease and less derailment would take place and less threads would need to be closed. It's been done clearly as a tactic to stifle discourse and it's succeeding.


This shoudn't be allowed by the mods and should there should be a cite or ban rule as this is getting ridiculous at this point.

Cite or ban doesn't work because they will quote something and explain why it is racist and others will deny that it's racist; ad nauseum.

Not being allowed to call perceived racism racism, now THAT would be stiffling discourse.

Whoever made the decision to move the Trump bot to its own thread needs to reverse it. Trump's entire presidency including his campaign is grounded in his tweets, so they warrant discussion whenever he posts. Having them in their own thread is basically the same as just going to Twitter.

Also fly should be unbanned or whatever, obviously. If people can't handle plain talk regarding race and racism then that's on them.

What was the point of that question? The obvious assumption paints you in a pretty simplistic and comical light, but since you do not want to answer I will just chuckle silently.

You don’t even know what racism is. How can you tell if these labels are being properly supported. I get that some of you think saying and doing racist stuff over and over doesn’t make one racist, but all the non racists in the world concur, that is not true.

I get that racists bristle at having it pointed out that they are racist but we went from decades of racism being underground for a large percentage of people which was met with capitulation.

Trump ushered in a new era were racists felt free to surface and openly hate again. The appropriate response is to call these people out directly and continuously. That they do not like it is not a real bother. I do not care if a racist feels harried or bullied. If they want to stop being racist, I will applaud their efforts.

But when someone says “Nobody wants a black doctor operating on them because they probably got into college with inferior abilities” and scream “I’m not a racist” I can only laugh and say, of course you are. This scenario plays out on this forum many times a day.

The BEST way to stop people from calling you a racist, is to stop being racist. It is not hard. It is easy if you try.

Fly was only toxic if you tried to hide your true intentions behind doubletalk political BS. The entire world could use more of that level of honesty.

People just can't handle the truth.
