Okay, I will bite. What do secret societies warned about by JFK have to do with your belief that today’s media is a monolith conglomerate?

So basically left wing and right wing conspire against open and honest journalism. So we basically receive propaganda opinion pieces rather than truth.

It kinda comes down to the idea of controlled opposition... Fox News isn’t right it’s controlled opposition to control narrative just enough. You think you are being presented with two sides but you’re not.

Who are the secret power behind all of this, and why have none of them come out to brag about that? What happens if someone like you becomes a super power source in the secret society? Do you get assimilated? Pushed off the edge of the Earth? Lizard People? Thanks for the clarifications!

One thing we all have to know is that there is zero chance that a group of people in power who take no health precautions and in fact behave in ways that encourage the spread of a virus are the ones more likely to be the ones who get it. Life can never be as simple as that!

Is there anything else, a common behavior perhaps, that might have caused these people to be at higher risk of contracting COVID? It's a real mystery.

The amazing thing is that some of these rightwing guys -- Herman Cain, for example -- have gone so far as to die of a disease that looks a lot like COVID. That's real commitment to the conspiracy. But then again, I'm assuming that guys like Herman Cain are actually dead.

Back on the real topic then - is there any chance that a group of people who take zero precautions against a virus, and in fact engage in behaviors that encourage its spread, have a better chance of catching it than those who take more precautions. Thanks!

Does the existence of so much data aka only 200,000 deaths out of 330,000,000 people In the US with a fatality rate of less than 1% of the entire population cause for something to be called a “pandemic” and create mass hysteria?

Aka when playing poker should I be worried and wear a mask and closing down business and creating mental problems at home over getting runner runnered statistically speaking.

Some would point out that

1) That number will continue to grow, and in the USA#1 with the idiot leader, at a pretty rapid clip compared to comparable countries.

2) That number is low, when you look at how many extra deaths than expected took place this year

3) Lots of people who do not die are pretty badly impacted by it moving forward. It is hardly a binary live/die and if you live you respawn as if nothing ever happened situation.

I guess I would ask you - how many people dying and being seriously impacted in terms of health will make even a denier like you acknowledge that it might be an issue? Thanks!

First of all, Boris Johnson, Trump, and Bolsonaro are far from the only high level government figures to have contracted COVID.

It would not be remotely accurate to say that all of these people are similar politically to Johnson, Trump, and Bolsonaro.

Some high level government figures were sure to get COVID no matter how careful the world was. But it stands to reason that people like Bolsonaro and Trump who eschew even the most basic precautionary measures would be overrepresented in the group of political figures who get COVID. Why is any of this a surprise?

Also, the underlying premise of your conspiracy is that Trump, after minimizing the severity of COVID for eight months, has now concluded that it is in his political interest to promote the lie that he has been hospitalized because of COVID, even if that lie forces him off the campaign trail for a couple of weeks.

That premise is highly debatable.

Your post is fine Rococo. I don't really have anything to argue with it. You're correct that obviously a number of other world leaders have also gotten it. Still though I think it's interesting that Trump, Bolsonaro, Johnson are three of them.
Re Trump's part in any conspiracy. If you had asked me 6 months ago if I thought the October surprise was Trump getting covid I'd have said 50/50. We'll see what happens though. I still like the idea that election ends up in the courts and riots ensue.

I am impressed that six months ago you had an unverified prediction of a 50% chance that Trump will announce he has Covid in October. This is the first time you mention that (in October), so it is unfortunate that you never did reveal that insight when I asked you 6 months ago where you thought this was heading at that time. Any predictions for March, 2021 or should we wait until then for you to reveal the scenarios you thought were 50/50 today. Thanks!

Also, when the riots you crave never really materialize (many republicans will be relieved when Trump gets stomped), will you just claim the ensuing riots were a 50/50 prediction? I like these 50/50 predictions, they are quite flexible and festive!

The riots would be coming not from Republicans but from those dissatisfied with Republicans.
