I'm not suggesting Saudi Arabia takes control. I'm saying that they will not want to resume talks with Israel while Israel is occupying Gaza. Saudi Arabia will use their leverage to demand that a Muslim force is in charge of Gaza, and currently there's only faction willing to do it.

You're completely misreading Saudi's position. If anything, they are taking American line: path to two state then anything goes.

The leadership there wants to normalize and is trying to find a path to normalization while still appeasing the diehards in the country.

Yeah i agree. I don't think they care if Israel stops this per se but i think they would like to see an ending with a path to 2 states similar to oslo 2.

FWIW right wing twitter, including Elon, are saying these are feds and this is a complete false flag op. They are actually challenging the media to investigate who these guys are and prove them wrong, but it has been crickets. They also point out when these guys do their marches the police actually help these guys escape undetected. They physically block anyone trying to follow them.

The one time they were "arrested" the police made sure to keep all their masks on, which everyone said is definitely not what they would do unless it was feds and they were given instructions ahead of time.

I am not sure Victor even watches the videos. They'll protest an Israeli occupation but they will not stop talking to Israel even if Israel occupies Gaza post WWII American style in Japan.

The Saudi government, through action if not words, has treated Israel as an ally and trade partner for at least 20 years, arguably longer.
