first, we dont know if that is Hamas. second, we dont know what they are doing with it. if it was Hamas, my guess is that they were taking it to make sure the hostages got fed. that should make you and the rest of the Zionists happy.

what do you think should happen to the aid? first come first serve? orderly queue?

its a warzone where 90% of people are getting less than one meal per day. that is bc Israel decided to torture concentration camp victims.

Yet somehow when you watched a video of people running on a beach with gunshots in the background you were able to determine 100% that the shots were from Israeli's massacring civilians.

Slight contradiction here. Palestine is an ancient name and the Palestine Mandate was created by the League of Nations in 1923. (Up to then, the area was part of the Southern Syria Province of the Ottoman Empire.) 'Palestinian Arabs' was a term coined for Arabs within the Mandate territory, as opposed to the Jewish settlers. The Black September atrocity at the Munich Olympics in 1972, carried out by Palestinian Arabs, as everyone knows, was definitely not 'in the last couple of decades' since 2003, so this is a bad-faith claim.

Maybe that's why getting aid into Gaza has been so difficult.

This again is obviously not true, since the PLO did sign up to the Oslo Accords, recognising Israel. It's the Israelis who don't want anything to progress, in case they have to evacuate the West Bank settlements full of mainly American zealots, so they throw in deal-killers like retention of East Jerusalem, which they know the Palestinian Arabs can't accept because Jerusalem is their capital and their principal holy site, as it is for Jews.

It is true, of course, that Hamas, at the urging of its Iranian paymasters, is supposedly dedicated to the destruction of Israel, but that is posturing vainglory and Hamas has no such capability. Plus, until recently, Hamas used to do deals with the Israelis over water and power and work permits all the time.

Maybe it was posturing a long time ago but they've fed Gazans so much koolaid, and drunk a lot of it themselves (especially the likes of Sinwar), they've got a whole lot of true zealots now.

Reportedly, Sinwar was furious at the political leadership for trying to negotiate and Sinwar has been the de facto decision maker since Oct 7th.

The man is made of Hamas koolaid.

It may well be. Warlordism is corrupt by its very nature, and Hamas is the ruling gun gang round there, and it will want to see that all aid goes to its gunmen before anyone else gets dibs.

A nationalist newspaper named Palestine (Falastin) was founded in 1911 in Jaffa. Palestinian nationalism emerged about the same time as Zionism.

The claim that Palestine is a brand new, invented phenomenon is dumber than a pail of worms. Go on eBay, you can buy Palestine postage stamps from the 1930s.

Street vendor selling Palestine in 1921.

I don't see the issue with that answer, but it may be because Im looking at it from a military perspective. The initial series of airstrikes shouldnt be expected to immediately cause the attacks on shipping to stop. The first response to airstrikes is usually defiant statements and threats of escalation. But as the airstrikes continue reality sets in and future attacks would be deterred.

But the other reason they would continue is that by targeting key functional sites like command and control and air defense, they are establishing favorable conditions for future ops should they be needed,

So while it may sound like a strange and contradictory answer on the surface, it actually makes sense.

Arab countries are formulating a plan for a cease-fire/hostage release deal as part of a larger agreement under which Saudi Arabia will normalize relations with Israel if it agrees to take "irreversible steps" towards establishing a Palestinian state, the Financial Times reported. Israel's President Herzog said Israel will have to find a Palestinian partner to negotiate with. Israel's security echelons were kept in the dark about the current Qatari-brokered deal to transfer medication to hostages held in Gaza until Netanyahu publicized the deal, a diplomatic source told Haaretz.

Based on Ryan Grims last 20 Twitter posts. He's quite a simpleton to put it nicely when he's attempting to discuss economics. His opinion on Biden's comment seems to fit together perfectly with his level of understanding and his urge to jump to a specific conclusion. **** isn't that simple.

I have no idea whether people do that to build a base or that he is just consistently a bit tweaked on all of his stances.

How will that work when we have Netanyahu reiterating today, "In the future, the state of Israel has to control the entire area from the river to the sea."

Israel says there'll be no state, built the settlements that have killed the idea, and it's a done deal.

God's got little to do with it. Zionism arose among secular Jews responding to European antisemitism in the 1890s.

" Indeed, according to UN statistics, the global average ratio of civilian-to-combatant deaths is a disturbing 9:1."

Anyone hear that stat before for urban combat? Was new to me today.

That’s like saying manifest destiny had nothing to do with the Christian belief their god had promised them America “from sea to shining sea”

First you have to believe you’re divinely entitled the land, then you can make up philosophies to support it.
