Nope, that’s not what it means.

You can get a pump action shotgun for like 270. You can get a glock 17 for around 500 and it's it's cheaper than a glock 19 or 22 and is a better gun for what people would think theyd need it for. Both of those guns would outlive a person's life - some by more than others.

Affordable means within your financial means/ responsible financial budget, often also including relative price as well.

If people don’t have extra spending money and or emergency funds then they can’t afford to buy guns as it’s not within their financial means or responsible financial budget

Sounds pretty affordable according to PW's definition. If some of these broke people lay off the $6 bags of potato chips and $8 frozen pizzas for a couple of months, they'll be able to buy more than one firearm to fight the government tyranny they read about on their $1000 smartphones.

I’m going to surprise you here…affordable is a relative term. Relative to one’s income/budget/disposable income.

No ****. I said, reasonably priced. For the price to be within reason, the price has to factor in one's financial situation. You called a $300 gun unaffordable without taking one's financial situation into consideration.

How much is rent?
How much is food?
How much is health insurance?
How much is a smartphone?
How much is a phone bill?
How much is car insurance?
Etc...

A one-time purchase of $300 for a lifetime protection from a "tyrannical government" is a drop in the bucket; i.e., affordable.

If the elites were trying to price out average people from owning guns, as you claim they are, then guns would cost $100K+ each and $1K per round of ammo.

No. Reasonably priced means reasonable compared to other products in the same pricing/category.

In that case, a $300 gun is very affordable.

That... is correct given the PW definition. My emphasis would be on the word "very".

They still seem to manage to find money for cigarettes, alcohol, and fast food though.

Does a universal govt paid girlfriend free up enough discretionary income for folks to afford a gun?

Doesn’t mean they can afford it.

That's an entitlement, not a right. If the govt is going to supply you a girlfriend or a gun for free, that woman is going to be appropriated through force from someone else's family, maybe even yours, to privilege you.

Nobody is saying that. Supply and demand dictate you can pay most people to do most jobs. Sex is no exception.

I’m imagining guns being so ubiquitous in PW’s utopia that you find them being used to jury-rig things like supporting the wobbly leg of a table or incorporated into all sorts of other products like portable fans, electric razors, and fleshlights so you can never be caught off guard should the country be invaded.
