Just finished reading the 67 page lawsuit... There are an additional 50+ exhibits to go through..

There is an individual in Colorado that is currently suing Google and YouTube.

The lawsuit is pretty hefty from what I have been able to surmise reading through the suit. After doing some more research on youtube I found a video of Bob Lewis talking about the lawsuit here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_B5jr5Zz-0 starting at 3:30 he talks about the lawsuit.


Interesting stuff...

Video was dumb and I turned it off at 7 minutes when he still didnt explain what he was suing about. Read like the first 10 pages of the lawsuit. Freedom of speech doesn't mean you get to write whatever you want in someone else's newspaper. Additionally suggesting that they are foreign state actors because they have commercial relationships in other countries would be really really difficult to prove and is unlikely to to help. Lantham act is irrelevant in this case. Seems really unlikely that there is any possibility that this guy will get any money and this likely just a publicity stunt.

Aren't these companies getting sued all the time for various things, including by government entities, especially in the EU?

One case with Google that I found amusing is one of the woman activists (I forgot her name) who was at the forefront of all of Google's #MeToo stuff, and was a rockstar in the company because of it, got knocked up and decided to quit (as many expectant/new mothers are want to do, nothing wrong with that) and is now suing Google for discrimination on her way out the door saying they discriminated against her because of her activism, when all indications are they completely supported her.

Obvious grift is obvious. This thread should be deleted.
