I remember seeing Ted Gunderson in the early 2000's before Epstein's first arrest saying high ranking govt officials and the super rich were flying children around in a large pedophile ring. Thought the guy was totally off his rocker.
That's the most recent example I can think of of a looney conspiracy theory coming true.

I had never heard of this guy, but he seems like a great example of the kind of thinking that conspiracy theorists are really bad at. Every conspiracy has a prior probability of bring true, whether it's actually a conspiracy theory or something I just made up on the spot. That there exist powerful people that engage in sexually moral acts requires no metaphysical or scientific shift to how any of us view the world. That the government has secret advanced mind control techniques it used to make Tim McVeigh bomb a federal buildings kinda does. We can just make up outlandish stuff off the top of our head as likely to be true as the latter.

Intresting about the OKC conspiracy theory in written in 1995 and you can see how much never came true or fell apart.

As a database developer who adheres to third normal form, I have a slightly different version of that phrase that I use whenever I see the same data point stored redundantly in more than one place - "A man with a watch always knows the time. A man with two watches is never sure".

Even more, if you have a broken clock and it’s telling you it’s noon and you look outside and it’s sunny that’s different from it telling you it’s moon and it’s pitch black.

I know nothing about databases....but it reminds me of my first job in undergrad where we had to install a 20 something node cluster for our computational math group. We had to wire it and all the schematics, which nobody ever really taught me how to read, called for dual redundant power supplies. I had no idea if that was a typo but I just wired it like it said to without really questioning it. I was the only undergrad so they gave me the low level stuff like assembling the cabinets, rack, doors, fan and doing the wiring. Grad students did all the software. We got it working eventually, but still no clue how close my wiring was to what someone who knows what they were doing would have done.

I meant that "redundantly in more than one place" was redundant. It's just "redundantly".

Right. I wasn't sure if "dual redundant" power supplies meant the same as dual and just a typo. Or if there were 2 and also each redundant. If I remember correctly I think there were 2 power supplies that got 120 VAC from the outlet on 2 channels and passed on 24 VDC to cards on an A and B side. And you only needed one side on everything to function.

I kinda rambled. I looked it up and dual redundancy is apparently a thing.

i think the trend to post off topic arguments/content in the mod thread is a growing virus on society. Its gonna explode...

Basically if I saw a reference to cutting, Kansas or grammar I checked it to be moved. But as I said, moving so many off topic posts requires a sledgehammer rather than a scalpel.

Please take all the off topic discussions to the other thread. Rather than allow such an overwhelming mass to accumulate again I will prob just delete them as I see them rather than move them. So please save yourself the anguish of seeing a post of yours deleted and just put it in the correct thread in the first place.

Thanks to all of thee for thine understanding.

For all you tin foil wearing conspiracy nuts, I got a good one for you. I hurd through the grape vine that Loyd Autsin was actually killed in Kyiv, Ukraine by P while secretly meeting with Valerii Zaluzhnyi, a commander in Ukrain's army, to discuss plans on taking out their common enemy (and the greatest enemy to the global DS), Russia (for those who aren't aware, the war in Ukraine is a DS clean out operation, he's not trying to take over the world like your state media is telling you. A lot of this info has already come out into the public such as the dozens of deadly biolabs (run by the DS US) that have been found there and destroyed.) I can't confirm or "prove" this info but it makes a lot of sense with what's going on rn and the story they're trying to convey about him being in the hospital so we're just gonna have to wait and see how it plays out. I would guess that they will eventually say he died in the hospital from complications of an elective surgery but don't forget, they do have "doubles" for these guys so anythings possible.
