Imagine banning Trump’s own statements from the thread discussing Trump.

Why is volume relevant? Whom are you protecting? Do you not think the president’s public statements are discussion worthy? They were with every other president this country had.

Or should we just bury our heads in the sand and pretend like he doesn’t say all the dumb **** he says at the volume he says it?

It is convenient for the morons here who defend Trump every day as they can remain in their cognitive dissonance bubble. What are you trying to accomplish though?

I already see all of his public statements so it doesn’t influence my knowledge of what is going on. However if we are going to have actual discussions about trump, people defending him should absolutely be required to digest what he says every day. I am fine if you want to ban people who don’t read the presidents public statements from discussing him in this thread.

However this charade that any of the trump defenders here know what the **** they are talking about on any level is long since past. So they should either be required to step up and become informed or be banned for endless trolling. Enough of this nonsense.

Trump's statements are not banned. I think I've said as much already, but it seems worth clarifying in case there is any confusion. Please feel free to post any Trump statements that you wish.

Trump bot is WOAT, but there are posters in here that do that occasionally and it drives me bananas.
Lol. Jesus Christ you are an ignorant twit. Not terribly surprising you would need someone else to explain to you why something is worth reading.

Mickey should be one of the first people banned from this thread for his ignorance of Trump.

Another one who should be banned from this thread for being wholly ignorant of Trump and what he says.

Genuis posting.
Could you elaborate on what aspects of Trump's discourse I'm missing? Perhaps there is an element of nuance there I can't grasp? Maybe his syntax is a little too complex for my little no-nothing mind.

"I'm getting a little tired of watching 10-year-old golf tournaments [on television] where you know who won"

The President of the United States, in the middle of the worst emergency of his presidency, on a surprise call into a golf broadcast.

Cool cool. Although I would be careful sharing transcriptions of what the president said in a thread about the president. The ignorant masses have a hard time with it and it is backed by an iron fist.

Great post. WN clearly said that posting tweets from Trump was unacceptable and could get a person banned.

Let us start with you and kelhus’ stupid media conspiracies. So much of what the president does does not require processing it through the media. It comes straight from his stupid face.

You would know this if you were informed on the thousand insane things trump tweets or says in front of a microphone every week. But keep defending trump and blaming the media from your tower of extreme ignorance.

Please do not even pretend you digest even a fraction of what Trump says regularly.

We can drop the pretense of the media creating bias against Trump, in this thread, going forward. The reality of seeing what Trump says with no filters and no interpretation is much worse than any media outlet pretends it to be.

The reality of Trump is much worse than the media opinion of Trump. You would know this if you were informed.

This video clip is awesome. I keep playing it over and over. For some reason I can't help standing to attention and saluting at the end of it.

First off--LOL again.
Second--the idea that Trump is capable of bypassing media filters to communicate directly with people is not new to me. The idea that I am receiving my ideas about Trump filtered through the media is rather lol.
Third--I don't actually care that much about Trump.
If I read more Trump tweets do you think that should cause me to start canvassing for Biden? Your whole "Trump is the devil" discourse is pretty lol and I don't care for it. Yeah--he's a bad guy. Great. Go vote him out.
And media conspiracies don't really have any logical connection to where sources of information about Trump should come from. That doesn't make any sense and I do not argue that the media is biased against Trump. I argue that Trump is a media creation but that doesn't mean I need the media to evaluate Trump--that's idiotic.

I am sort of curious though.
1) What is the media opinion of Trump?
2) What is the reality?
3) How many tweets do I need to read and how many press conferences should I watch to understand it?

Trump not posting anything inspirational that he said but instead plastering his face over an actor playing the President saying something inspirational is a pretty good summation of Trump and the conservative movement

An actor playing the president who is himself an actor playing the president. Baudrillard would be proud.

As a pandemic has killed over 90,000 Americans and Trump rushes to stop people from taking measures to prevent the spread of disease, here are the things he seems most concerned about today: whining about Barack Obama and the media. Some big GREATEST PRESIDENT OF OUR LIFETIMES energy out here!
