I think my favorite was calling it racist considering the theory they believed was it came from dirty Chinese markets.
Woke Reporter: Why do you keep calling it the "China Virus?"

Trump: Because it originated in China.

I keep seeing people saying on twitter that there is evidence that is was circulating as early as the summer of 2019-- apparently based on blood samples taken then, but I don't know if that's true or not. If it is then that's.... interesting.

C'mon dude, you can do better than this. Trump was going out of his way to call it the "Chiiiiiii-NA Virus" every opportunity he could; he was very clearly playing to xenophobia.

I'd agree that there's nothing inherently racist about naming a virus for the place it originated from. But sadly, people are *******s, and their ability to be *******s is increased by social media, so it's probably best to refer to viruses by a name that's based on something other than geography, thus tamping down on racist/xenophobic reaction.

Not quite sure that saying that Alex Jones tries very hard to monetize conspiracyderp content is that absurd or trolling, as that is literally what he does as a business model. A simple google search can find various lists of his weirdest conspiracy theories (likely many the resident mega conspiracy guy agrees with), and given he has had his show running for well over a decade - it is safe to assume he has peddled a fairly large assortment of crazy conspiracyderp content and theories (some long term and some one offs), so my comment that he may get one partially correct is not due to anything but random luck remains correct. Its not like that guy has only peddled 2-3 theories over the years, even if the horrid one that a school shooting was fake (something the local mega conspiracyderp likely agrees with) did bankrupt him. He probably should have stuck with selling quackery silver products to his derps and pitching things like the government controls the weather.

By the way - how did you go so deep in the "THEY" rabbit hole the past year or so. Go watch the South Park episode about evil corporations at the hippie fest and do your best not to become those damn hippies as they are talking about the evil corporations!

I'm confused about what you're confused by, since there was no "big told ya so"...I just posted the WSJ headline saying I didn't believe it.
True it wasn't some big reveal, but you're sticking it to the sheep

Is there evidence that covid has the same effect as the vaccine as far as producing the spike protein in all sorts of places it doesn't belong? I don't think there is.

So the energy department has (belatedly) acknowledged the pandemic was most likely a lab leak.

Given the facts of the virus and pandemic** (most of which were known in early 2020), it really was a masterclass in censorship, manipulation and social control by the MSM and "scientific community" that they were able to gaslight the general public for so long that "natural origin" was the most likely culprit, and discount many of those who pointed out the obvious that it never was.

Including, but not restricted to:

*Pandemic originated in the same locale as one of two places in the entire world that was doing research on modifying coronaviruses (from a straight logic standpoint even knowing absolutely nothing about Coronaviruses or epidemics, this point alone should make the lab leak theory the default position in a rational world)
*SARS-COV-2 is most genetically similar to viruses discovered in bats in caves over 2000 miles away
*It is known the Wuhan lab had sent scientists to these caves to collect specimens to take back to Wuhan and study following a small infection of humans locally.
*SARS-COV-2 came out of the gate strongly adapted to infect a wide variety of human cell types, which is not generally how zoonotic jumps work.

You could consider trying to make the quality of the posting better

I save all my good posts for fox news message boards and 4chan. The thing about conspiracy folk that gets me is not that they believe elites arr out to get them in a variety of fantastic and complex ways, but that they actually care so much. Caring is a limited energy source

Apparently you're one of the people who just wants to watch the world burn. Which is fine-- to each their own. Just don't judge too harshly those who don't share that with you.

You phrase this as if they knew it all along rather than waiting to give an opinion until they felt they had enough evidence.

The virus has spike proteins. When you are infected, the virus is replicating, along with its spike proteins. How do you think people are getting organ damage and thrombosis from covid?

So, given that the spike protein is doing all this damage do you think it's a good idea to have a vaccine that instructs your own body to manufacture millions of spike proteins?

You have(had) to pick your poison. You can not get vaccinated and let a novel virus replicate and spread throughout your body. Even mild cases have shown organ damage. Of course you can get severe organ damage or die as well. You can also get vaccinated and have a much lower risk of all of that.

Are you aware of what the rate of serious incidents is following the vaccine vs the rate of serious incidents following natural infection?

Doesn't natural infection sometimes lead to death? Sounds severe
