You and other Trumpists have no credibility anymore. Like, even actual centrists don't wanna be your friends.
This, "If you're not fully with us, you're against us" mentality is the problem. I wouldn't expect anyone to go back through four and a half years of posts, but if you did, you wouldn't find explicit support for Trump in there. You'll find a lot of LOL Hillary and me pushing back against some of the most absurd anti-Trump rhetoric (Trump has mortgages, and is thus a national security threat!) but I am not and never have been a "Trumper."

You can keep your friends. They're probably not the sort of people I'm interested in hanging out with. I'll take a mildly racist suburbanite over a member of the woke movement any day. The centrists and I get along just fine. Probably something to do with me not investing my entire sense of self-worth into hating people who don't agree with me on everything.

Where's our resident fact checker for this one?

Metal detectors are being installed, but certainly not for the stated reason.

Lol, you mean some of those mildly racist suburbanites who were rioting along with the Nazis at the Capitol. That's the reality of your America.

You're like McConnell, you enabled this the worst bit of Trumpism just to try to rub into the other side's face.

Boebert appears to be a piece of work, but that "rapsheet" really doesn't build much on the idea of her being an insurrectionist QAnon whackjob. And don't get me wrong, she may well be one, it just doesn't show there.

Yep, let's be a bit careful about calling out people in congress as potential assassins and move the debate on from that.

Not necessarily attacking inso.
Just, his reactions this far are so typical and glaring an example of the extreme right.
Denying any culpability whatsoever
Desperately deflecting blame
Pretending, or maybe even worse ,believing, to be the victim. Or in other words. Blaming the victims.

This is straight from Trumps authoritarian rule book.

First, Trump hasn't read much less written a book in his entire life.

Second, do you not see how these exact same claims can be made for the Antifa and BLM shitshow "protests" that were actually just excuses to burn **** down?

I don't care if you want to make an example out of the people who dressed up as Call of Duty characters at the Capitol last week. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes and all.

What has always annoyed me about this place is the hypocrisy. I play the "can you imagine?" game with you guys all the time and it just goes right over your head. Then you have an actual example of it and we have a thousand posts about domestic terrorists and "Y'all Qaeda" with absolutely ZERO introspection.

Then you wonder why I don't take any of this seriously.

Inso is like the king of whatabout, which is the second-highest main trait(behind overt racism) of Trumpies. You simply can't reason with people like this, which is why I just troll my IRL Trumpy 'friends'.

My favorite part of the last week or two has been all the Proud Trumps turning on THE BLUE. Someone explained it pretty succinctly:

It was never about Back The Blue. It was about protect the white.

Except for the first, it's all minor stuff -- but it does show her as an irresponsible scofflaw, so her recent actions are not surprising.

Well, there are, according to The Hill, 25 active counter-terrorism investigations as a result of the attack on the Capitol. That is probably the reason for broad inclusions on the "No Fly List". That article is two days old, I don't have updated numbers.

Exactly what those investigations will bring I don't know, but clearly people aren't going to be exempt from the NFL simply because they happen to be middle-aged or female.

Obviously since 2001, US intelligence agencies and law enforcement have had very broad powers when it comes to counter-terrorism. That's probably a debate of its own.

Yes, I agree with all of that.

Honestly, I was disappointed when I read the list because I already had the impression that she was a wingnut and was expecting to find more fun there. But Shuffle came through with that Independent article. It engages in a little hyperbole, but still supports his assertion of "whackjob" IMO.

And she totes heat: "Republican Lauren Boebert vows to carry handgun to Congress" [URL="https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-55540155"/URL]
No wonder they now want to screen everyone coming in to congress.

All's well that ends well in this case, though. These people are being cancelled/jailed left and right.

They're all banned from social media now, too. The internet might reach levels of leftwing circle-jerk that the likes of the old guard 2p2 regs never even dreamed of.

Silver linings, friend!
right wing agent provocateurs and govt agency goons burned down most of the buildings.

Besides the fact that BLM is a movement that addresses serious problems and the Trump Army was fighting about an election that wasn't stolen, it's exactly the same.

lol Trumpers.

I think that is the same kind of sentiment as used by those who tried to blame the Capitol storming on Antifa.

While there was some isolated cases of agent provocateurs in last years events (there are reports of Boogaloos who did this), pretty much all the damage done was simply done by rioters.

the fbi and local police orgs have informants in every left wing protest. its well documented. sure the protesters fought with some police and burned some police stations and maybe a couple businesses. the vast majority was from outside agents or opportunists. BLM and ANTIFA didnt burn any sacred small businesses.

"What happened to you lost, get over it?" is my current go-to for IRL Trumpkins spewing any of their nonsense. Put two guys I know into full meltdown a couple days ago, it was pretty swell.

Anyone I know IRL who talks about Trump after he is impeached for a second time and finally removed, will be cut loose.

Not actively fighting against Trump= being a Trumper
