why does butti have 14? I thought it was 10 to 10?

i heard 10 10, then today NYT said 13-12 with one outstanding. i remember thinking...naturally 564 to 562 (or whatever that 2 point lead in pledged imaginary derp delegate total was) reduces to 13-12 lead for Pete because i mean cant have them tied for reasons...but now its 14-12 you say?https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...wa-caucus.html

Sanders got almost 15% more votes than Pete and lost by 2 delegates. there were obv errors that were well documented and the DNC rectified them at first but then after Tom Perez stepped in the reneged and went with the original misapplication.

just a total joke. I am very close to just voting Trump if Bernie loses.

Who gives a **** about 2 delegates. You need 1990 to win and Buttigieg is DOA in every other state besides Iowa and NH.

that is some awesome riggage. getting 14-12 out of that.

it matters just because it's blatant riggage...plus pete gets to say, hey where i come from 14-12 is a victory! like i said with zero percent of vote in!

if it was 14-12 sanders, which it really should be, then 1. pete's victory cry would be a story...arrogant prick meme 2. sanders could say i won without anyone saying no. so momentum.

i said early on, i think this is not all that bad, since it only fires up bernie supporters to donate and phone bank harder. but i admit pete has momentum, so instead of a 2 state win and a rout for sanders in NH as we head on to more difficult terrain, pete gets his moment in the sun, and a probable close story in NH.

otoh, let's say pete sticks around longer and stronger because of this, he is something of a factor in NV and SC (not a top finisher, but he gets votes...and on to super tues)

Pete isnt taking many votes from Sanders, imo. not many. biden and amy are all going after him for a reason.

My point is, Pete might help kill Joe Biden. And Biden is the only one who can beat Sanders.

Maybe Bloomberg. He does have a strategy. I know he likes Pete and I kill Joe, and spend like hell to take on Bernie.

I don't understand why anyone would emotionally invest themselves in such an insignificant event. This dude is ready to grab his torch and pitchfork.

To put it in poker terms, don't focus on the number of pots won, but the size of the pots. Buttigieg just won the blinds. Who cares. Super Sunday is in a few weeks and that's a monster pot. Worry about that one, or perhaps don't worry about that one because Bernie is doing very well and Buttigieg is doing very poorly.

if directed at me, i don't think you saw my follow up post. I dont think Pete has a chance. I do think it's possible that he helps when things actually do matter "superbowl sunday".

I am actually reasonably happy with the good start for Bernie and bad start for Joe Biden. It's just ldo riggage and it's not as good of a start as it should have been if the process was fair.

I heard this from a co worker on Friday - and he wasn't joking.

Lets say the rigging is fully exposed and it was enough to shaft Bernie and enough for GOPete to take it down. Would you vote for Trump over Pete?

Not something you hear in the midst of a raging conflagration. Repubs already GG'd liberal democracy. We'd be lucky to win with the perfect candidate.

I agree eDems gotta go because the game has to be played out.

its a total joke to even think that is of any consequence.

really, they tied as both got 10 delegates for the big show. if Pete got 2.1 more super secret effective state delegates who ****in cares. Bernie smoked him in total votes and thats what matters in this case.

now if Bernie had gotten a ton more votes and somehow gotten less real delegates then ya, Pete could be considered the winner (and obv I would be super pissed)
Yeah, but you kinda always have a bee in your bonnet.

as I said, I am very close. at this point there is no way the election will be fair and thus no way Sanders will win.

up thread than syn guy is like lol why do you care its so few delegate percentages. but that cuts both ways. look at the effort the DNC went to for this? look at what they had to sacrifice? I mean, ya their credibility has been shot for years but they didnt even try to hide it.

if they are willing to remove all doubt and blatantly commit open election fraud for a measley 2 delegates wtf do you think they will do for the whole prize?

Sanders wraps up the nomination (for all practical purposes) on Super Tuesday.

but like heres the thing, despite me trying to tell you things you continue to think that liberals and democrats are similar to true left wingers such as socialists and dem socs (like Bernie.). in reality the Hillary and Warren supporters are much closer to Trump and the Repubicans than they are to even Sanders' bland form of social democracy. like way ****ing closer. and the gap is worsening.
