As far as Elon's actual motives, I would say they are:

1. Support his companies
2. Send man to Mars

And not necessarily in that order. He is really into the whole Mars thing, for good or bad. And he views the current iteration of the Democrat party and their dedication to equity at the expense of technological progress as major impediments to that task.

Fwiw ,the principle of 0% interest rates over a decade help created other companies that wouldn’t ever been able to succeed as well with more « normal interest rates » .

This guy is a scientist and a youtuber. He has quite a lot of videos debunking/discrediting claims Musk has made going back years, with receipts (meaning if he claims something is physically impossible, he presents calculations why etc.)

It's not a political channel, it's a science channel. The closest he gets to politics is talking about the amount of money Musk makes, or I guess he might have diverged a little into politics when the whole twitter saga was happening.

I picked out "The Myth of Elon Musk: Busted" (32 mins)....so far the narrator makes fun of Elon for a bunch of things without anything close to demonstrative. But only a new left party, a somewhat new conservative party, a terrible old one, and a shitshow of current goverment which consists of liberals who, by now, sold their souls to get into goverment with the braindead idealistic wokeism and ****tardry of the green party, which literally (photo) works hand in hand with Soros and American dems to ruin our country from within, same as the social-democrats.
The three parties in goverment would currently get less % combined than the old conservative party alone...
