Shocking. I spoke to live chat and they escalated it so that someone somewhere can send me an email telling me everything is correct. I responded with the correction, but I highly doubt it will go anywhere.

well its the next day and i aint heard CRAP from BETONLINE...................... they LIED and said the tornament was paused and wudd b canceled........ IT WASNT CANCELED!!!!!

I left the table open just in case and sure enough, it resumed, with half the players "gone."

Yeah, that was my mistake. Having played online poker since 2007, I should know better than to close the table, even when they say it's cancelled lol. Oh well.

I've now received three responses back from them. Two ignoring my issue and saying I was paid out correctly per the cancellation policy in T&C. So they are flat out saying the tournaments were cancelled. And the latest email saying they will escalate it to the proper department.

Thankfully, I have a screenshot of my positioning in the lobby when the tournament was paused to support my position. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of the message on the table saying the tournament was cancelled, but like I said, in two out of three emails so far the rep is saying the tournament was cancelled and I was paid correctly. Clearly I'm not the only player who is experiencing this issue. And I've seen some people say they couldn't even get back into the software at all, which makes the fact they resumed tournaments even more ridiculous.

Just a thought, you might want to read above and see how other people have written and asking for help in getting assistance. All caps, multiple punctuation, rants are not likely to be a catalyst for a rep offering to help you.

The email I received from the proper department is that I was paid 12th place money because that’s where I placed. The next sentence then literally says to refer to their cancellation policy on the site. It seems hopeless. They are saying the tournament was cancelled while also telling me I placed 12th in the normal operation of the tournament. I guess I’ll try to give them a call and talk to someone directly rather than over email.

Still hoping Chris can help out, as I’d rather deal with the 2p2 rep.

Chris once again proves why going through a 2p2 rep is super helpful. He reached out to me via PM, confirmed the issue, and facilitated payment for the missing funds within a couple of hours.

He was responsive, quick, and efficient in fixing the problem. I really appreciate the help.

I am happy with the resolution and look forward to continuing my play on BOL.

Hi guys,

I've been informed that there is a scheduled downtime for maintenance tomorrow Wednesday Dec. 15, starting at 1:00am ET and ending at 6:00am ET (5 hours).

Unfortunately this will impact tonight's $25,000 GTD at 7:30pm, so it's been removed from the tournament's lobby.

The regular tournament schedule will resume shortly after the maintenance period.

This is part of the problem honestly. One of the main US facing sites is down, again, for the second Saturday in a row and we have what? 3 people talking about it? Sad state of affairs honestly. Especially since it took 5 days and multiple conversations to right last weeks reimbursements. Oy vey.

And we are cancelled. Again.

To be fair I think this thread is bogged down by a certain someone posting nonstop, but yeah this is ridiculous. Not that the amount of downtime is being tracked by US legislators, but if online poker ever has a chance of becoming "legal" again in the US then the frequency of this kind of thing needs to be fixed and customer service can't treat players like I've seen reported on this site.
