This seems so stupid to me. Every time i talk to their online chat they tell me to try bitcoin but i have to tell them it's not available for me to use. I just want to play poker on their damn site. I wish this was easier. Maybe there is something, someone can suggest.
According to this https://www.pokerlaws.org/reviews/bodog/, Bitcoin is used to deposit.
At least ninety percent of the people on this forum are based in the USA, as am I, so we don't play on Bodog.
I tried to use a debit card to fund my account on Ignition in March; it was declined, so I had to use Bitcoin.

I'm Canadian so i don't know if it's because of that or the part of the county i'm in but the only deposit method available is credit/debit card. I think after i make one successful credit card deposit then it opens up the option to use bitcoin but right now it's not possible.

Could maybe find someone reputable to send the money to your account via btc after you send them $$$ via paypal or something.

If he doesn't have the option to deposit btc then there's no way someone else can deposit the btc for him

I haven't done this, but I know back in the day on stars lots of Canadian guys would buy prepaid credit cards from convenience or grocery stores and use that to deposit. Again, not 100% they work, but could be worth buying one for a small amount to test it out (but check in the cashier to see what minium deposit is)

Yes, it's bad. After playing a cash game session, I just tried to open some SnG tourneys, and everything froze up on me. Then I tried to go back to cash games, and it was no good either. Time to quit for the night, I guess

literally just froze in an all in before my big blind, software completely freezes before the river is even dealt, i wait 30 seconds for it to fix itself, doesnt happen, I relog in to find that ive missed my big blind as a result, at a critical shove or fold part of the tournament, just in time to see my big blind hand made two pair on the turn as it was checked around. So ****ing sick of this **** on this ****ing site. They have a monopoly on the US poker population and still cant hire a competent computer programmer to fix the mistakes in the software.

Random question for you guys.

Just finished playing a session with a guy who didn't play a single hand, but would time down all 30 seconds every time, then fold, and seemed to never sit out after the time out. Almost like it was trying to make the money in an MTT.

this was regular 50nl tables. It was happening on 2 tables, with what I assume was the same player(anonymous tables, so cant say 100%). PT4 had over 100 hands with zeros across the board.

was it a shitty bot? some dude who wanted to tilt as many people as possible while only losing bout tree fiddy?

Your question made me consider the general question of possible cheating at Ignition.
In the old days, Poker Stars used to reimburse players when they discovered that they were cheated. I was personally reimbursed and I am sure most other regular players were compensated at one time or another.
How many posters here have ever been compensated for a cheating incident at Ignition or Bovada? I have not. Therefore, we must assume that either: 1. cheating never occurs or 2. that cheaters are not caught and their victims are not compensated.

The most easily available "public" bot was just updated so that would explain it.

I forgot to mention that it had more than 100bb on both tables. So it must have played some hands before I sat down.

So its a bot thats set to old man coffee? but doenst want to arouse suspicion so it times down every hand?

FWIW it felt automated, the timing of the folding without sitting out.

Just thought it was bizarre.

"...the timing of the folding without sitting out."

I had noticed a similar thing the other day during the weekly free roll. The player was not sitting out, but the fold was practically automatic. Quite strange. I had not thought about it again until reading your words here.

Im a newbie to online poker and I have two questions about ignition.

Do they accept visa/mastercard gift cards?.

And I am very confused about there welcome bonus. It says 150 percent poker bonus but im a little confused on how it's earned and also it says I get 30 days. Does this mean If I dont get 150 percent worth of bonus's the bonus's I received up until then will just be dead money in my account that I cant use?

If you do decide to deposit with gift cards make sure you hold onto them and don't lose them or toss them, they will want you to send pictures of them when you try to cash out. I would suggest using bitcoin to deposit. If you don't know how to use bitcoin it would be worth it to figure it out, trust me.

As far as the bonus goes I think you have 30 days to claim the bonus by depositing but you should have longer to clear it. And you clear it by meeting the rollover requirements which just means you have to pay many multiples of rake more than your initial deposit. The good news is is if you bust your deposit the bonus funds will be available for you to actually play with. You just won't be able to cash out until you meet the rollover requirements.

Next time if you have a question you can try the search function at the top of the thread. I was refunded a few hundred a few years ago.

Hi xxxxxx,

We have concluded that two players in a ring game that you were involved in have been colluding. As such, the amounts that you have committed to these pots have been removed and awarded to you. Please check your account balance for the said adjustment.
We are committed to providing a fun and safe place for players all over the world to enjoy poker. With that being said, we are constantly monitoring our tables as well as following up on leads from players to ensure that collusion is found and dealt with appropriately.

i got over $250

might've been from my 200plo? dunno. jesus. sick.

Ok, refunds have been paid by Ignition as compensation for cheating incidents. I didn't know how to check for that. Thanks.

I play and mostly win at dons $5 and $10(double or nothing tourneys). I have been reluctant to play them at high limits on Ignition because there was a major cheating scandal involving this format at PokerStars years ago. PS decided that dons were too vulnerable to collusion, so it scrapped the format altogether. Collusion in this format includes, I believe, simply not calling all-ins on the bubble.

My four tables all just randomly closed in the middle of hands and it takes me back to lobby where I'm immediately able to join new tables. This software is such garbage.

I have always gotten refunds from the customer service when I have told them about this. However, they will tell you it is a hardware problem, but they will refund you.

This is concerning jackpot sit n gos and possible tourneys.

Cash games you’re out of luck, although one time I got $50 for free because it took them hours to return my $ from a cash game and I complained.

I posted on a hand number on their message board and they gave me a bonus 1x rollover. It was small stakes and a fitting small size bonus/refund.
