I don't think it's my network settings since I've tried different DNSes and used a VPN and still can't get card deposit working.

Was talking with someone else on another forum and they were experiencing the same issue. They even tried using a voucher and that still didn't work. I just gave up and ended up using JuicyStakes.
How is juicy going?

Yeah I signed up on Winamax with no problems just didn't follow through with the verification process because Ignition games are good enough.. How is the withdrawals?

For me, I gave up after a second attempt - traffic was just too low and the software is just so bad compared to other sites. Player pool is pretty soft, but not like Ignition from what I've seen/heard. Very few people seem to buy in for the max so it's hard to make money from the bad players anyway.

Their withdrawal system is poor to say the least. The withdrawal fee itself is quite hefty ($60 for a direct deposit) and it only gets waived if you accrue that amount in rake in the month where you want to withdraw. They don't offer BTC withdrawals either.

For those reasons it doesn't seem worth it to play on there anymore. I'm on BCP now. Prefer their software, bigger player pools and more game varieties, and they have sane withdrawal policies.

ACR & GG don't take new accounts from Australia, due to their T&Cs and current Aus law.

Hey guys,

What is the best method to withdraw and deposit BTC on Ignition in Australia?

For withdrawing...Ignition > Blockchain > Coinspot > Bank?

Or do you recommend any other methods?

PPP is thriving.

AmericasCardroom is an option also, big fields - you have to sign as a New Zealander; support are entirely open with this method; private chatting support to swap your details over in client and they will talk you through it. You'll have to use bitcoin to deposit/withdraw.

I do not condone using VPNs to sign up to other sites - don't risk it - imagine signing up - binking big and being told to jog on.

I've noticed alot of Australian players recently playing on GGPoker with a couple making a few big binks in the past week - I messaged support and they subtly told me that upon installing client you are unable to select Australia to register. Assuming that means you can follow the ACR route but don't take my word for it. I'll ask about and update here.

Thanks for that information mate. Much appreciated.

What would you find is the best/cheapest method to withdraw from poker sites using bitcoin?

Poker account > Blockchain > Coinspot > Bank account?

There are two options for bank account.

1. Euro bank account which is pretty much impossible for those living outside of Europe (Have looked into it big time, if someone has a solution then please let's hear it)

2. Skrill account, which is what I used.

I signed up and got verified on Winamax about 6 months ago. (Man it is a procedure and a half) I deposited via credit card and it was immediate.

One major problem though, you can't withdraw. Skrill rejects the withdrawal from Winamax into your account due to the Aussie laws. Was on support several times before someone finally realized why the withdrawals were being rejected.

Bottom line is yes, you can play, if you're a recreational player and want to play for real money on great software and great fields then this might be an option.

If you're a winning player, yes you can play and win but you can't withdraw winnings. (I tried about 4 months ago, maybe it's changed now, dunno)

I deposited a small amount and I've started to run it up. (Playing on there when I have nothing better to do) Treating it like a small Bank Savings Account. If one day in the future Online Poker is legalized in Oz then I can withdraw if not, lost a small deposit, but at least I'm playing and killing some time. Beats playing with play money.

Go for a local wallet instead. Phone or desktop is up to you, but both are more secure than using a web service. I use Samourai Wallet which is an Android App.

Then yes, whatever exchange you like, CoinJar, CoinSpot, or Swyft then just a bank transfer.

People who has grandfathered in ACR accounts, are you still able to make withdrawals?

I requested mine 4 days ago but it's still pending.

Greetings from Sydney. I'm an NPL player, and I've been enjoying Corona PokerStars home games (play site) as some games have popped up / transfer money to the host, etc... am sure you know the drill / Top 3 paid out by host.

Games have been declining in numbers for whatever reason which sucks, so I've now found USA home games with US$10/20/50 buy ins. PayPal. 30-50 runners it seems. I played twice and cashed in two different groups / immediate payout. Great option with crap timing considering our timezone.

My question, as I reviewed this forum and seeing all the tech talk / problems - why can't we get a no rake 2-3 nights per week tourney in Australia? Host has $0 buy in for collecting payment. Surely somebody is doing this / can anybody DM me details?

If not, surely somebody in 2+2 has a trusted reputation to get this done (I'm still new-ish here)?

Thanks in advance.

(Edit: I know PPP Poker apps exist - I simply hate the layout / fast clock, functionality)

Hi

I've never tried to withdraw cause I'm **** at the game and keep losing. To deposit I buy " ticket premium" voucher online and use the code to deposit.

I also have pokerdom and pokermatch accounts that have good tournaments. They are Russian and Ukrainian sites respectively. You can use Bitcoin for pokerdom.

So theres still plenty of options to play if you get sick of the ignition software.

Cheers

Damo

Hey mate, I'm in a group like this, run by a friend of a friend. Unfortunately I can't PM you here, but if you post some sort of throw-away email or reddit account I'll try to give you the info there.

In the past... from memory, I haven't been able to download and install the ACR software.

Tonight it let me download and create an account. I was getting so excited until when I went to deposit there was no 'Australia' option when selecting my country. A huge list of random countries and somehow in 2020 we still can't play.

What a let down.

I thought about doing this but chickened out at the part where I had to make up a home address. Has anyone else been game to try this?
