I've been thinking about getting involved in side bets online and was wondering if there is a site that manages wagers (secures funds, et cetera) as I'm a little shy about gambling with people I've never met having been burned before.

Earlier I won tourney #161130289 at Pokerstars. It was an FPP satellite to the Sunday Warmup.

Obviously the Sunday Warmup has a $215 entry fee, and the email I received says as much. It also says that if I choose to unregister from the tourney I will receive a T$215 credit to my account. I unregistered yet only received T$162.50 to my account.

Has anyone else experienced this? I've emailed PS to correct this already but they've yet to respond.

Anyway, I'm ******ed. PS new "rematch" feature on HUSNGs automatically takes money out of T$ if you have any, otherwise takes cash.

I got that a lot on Sunday. It didn't freeze for too long. Just long enough to time out on a few tables. It was pretty annoying.

anyone else with this issue. I am using beta client. Would not let me get update. So I deleted and re-downloaded it. Still not getting past a super quick connecting phase when it switches to trying again. Just wondering if it is just me.

please close this and or delete it on the 5th attempt of removing program and installing it it started to work, so I must have been getting a bad download or something.

I was playing in a small buy in turbo sit n go. An observer who had not ever been in the tournament said "I folded AT" which made a straight. At another point when the board was K44 he said "I folded K4." This violated the tournament rule that prohibits commenting on the current hand.

I complained to the site but they're response was that tournament rules do not apply to observers.

I think that if players are not allowed to comment on the current hand, observers should not be able to either. I think it's worse that an observer comments on a hand when action is still possible.

Come up with something that is actually an issue when looking for something to complain about.

It's an issue if another player folded when they otherwise would've called or raised, but for the observer's comment.

Been away so didnt play poker for a month or so on my mac. When I open up the pokerstars app it gave me the 'new software available' message but the app closes before it installs. Anyone else experiencing issues with this? Pokerstars recommended re-downloading/re-installing the app but the installation process fails saying soething like 'please re-attempt installation'. I am basically locked out of my pokerstars account because of this. I am extremely mac/computer literate. There are no problems with my computer, except perhaps it is a little long in the tooth (power pc g4 os x 10.4.11) - I wouldnt have thought it was too old yet though....
