so yesterday I deposit @ betsafe. takes a little trying whatever. so then i try to move the money to my poker account. they say I have to verify i.d. which is weird cause i just deposited at titan & william hil & bodog & pulse and no one wanted me to verify i.d. and then they want a bill. So I tell them to just give my money back... just deposited just want it back. Now they are saying I can't even have my money back, I need to 'roll over' my deposit.

Their customer service is rude, I made them copies of my i.d. and apparently that is not enough for them...

This is a very poor poker site, I would not deposit there if I were you. Isn't it a basic principle in any business that if you are not happy with a service right when you try it you can just take your money back and leave?

Betsafe is an AWFUL skin on Ongame. They are a very scummy poker skin.

I had an issue with them and they refused to let me speak to a manager or contact me by phone to sort the issue out. They literally stole $150 USD from me.

I've played on almost every network online and Betsafe ranks #1 in being total scumbags.

EDIT: Also, I recommend NOT contacting the LGA to try and sort your issue out. Once you contact the LGA, Betsafe will REFUSE to speak to you further until the LGA responds. The problem is... The
"LGA" took three weeks to send me a response of "we do not deal with poker."

Just avoid this skin at all costs.

they are still giving me the run around have sent in my id numerous times sent countless e-mails and even screenshotted my moneybookers deposit form for them to see
01-27-2012 , 11:08 AM
still making me send in more id and prove my address, even though I sent them my id which clearly says my address on it. This is so annoying and pisses me off so much. They have my money. They have all the power. I naively trusted this ****ty little site and now they are making me jump through hoops and be their little bitch. Well fine *******s, I will never play on your pathetic site or network again. Get yourself a different rake whore.

This site is 100% not worth playing on, it's a GIGANTIC hassle just to get money on there. STAY AWAY.

Try EuroPoker they do a decent job, better than other OnGame skins I have experienced
02-02-2012 , 12:13 PM
Betsafe is the worst skin I have ever experienced using and I'd advise everyone to stay away.
02-02-2012 , 12:33 PM
get verified before depositing, that way there's no issues when it comes time to cashout, is faster (seemingly) and you won't be worried about money tied up in an account

Not all sites from Ongame Network are the same. Betsafe have indeed rudly live chat customer service but there are other good sites in the network witch treates their players very nice.

Two weeks later and it is clear to me now that BetSafe has decided to steal $1000 to me. Deposit at your own risk, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

This really annoys me. A thousand dollars is a lot of money. Why won't they give it back to me? Is there any justification for them stealing my money?
02-05-2012 , 04:29 PM
If you've deposited and not played, it's not all that unusual for a site to insist on some amount of play, since they have incurred fees when you deposited and it will cost them more when you cash out.
02-08-2012 , 05:09 AM
Ya, I find it extremely hard to believe what you are saying. They aren't trying to steal your money. I'll bet anything there is something wrong with your ID that you are not telling us.

Customer support has been nothing but gracious with me. Post the chat logs.

I was a little surprised to see this post. I've used betsafe for 5-6 years or so. both for poker and sportsbetting. I have NEVER had any problems with them what so ever.. fast cashouts, nice and fast support.

I don't think that's fair at all. I'm a customer choosing to deposit $1000 into their site. They should let me take my money out at will. Hello? I'm a customer. They are probably going to make hundreds or thousands of dollars off me in rake or EV, I think I should get the benefit of the fees. Now if this was a situation where there was something shady going on, sure whatever, but there's not - I deposited, got treated like **** by the company and now simply want my money back without giving them any action because of the way they have treated me. No problem like this @ bodog, titan, william hill, pokerstars, party poker, etc. etc.

I think they are strapped for cash and now just resorting to flat out stealing. THe whole industry is like a ponzi scheme... what if they have spent all your deposits and now need to sucker / scam others in order to pay you back?

Why can't I just have my money?

And if they do make some money, they will give you the benefit of the fees. If they don't, they won't. I understand that this can be frustrating, but as I said, it's fairly standard, and is hardly indicative of them trying to "steal your money".
02-09-2012 , 12:52 PM
They have "stolen" my money because right now they are in control of it, not me. I tried to cash out, they won't let me. If I own it surely I should be able to cash out, which I am not able to do.
02-09-2012 , 12:53 PM
Sigh.
02-09-2012 , 03:41 PM
they have been fine with me very friendly support
02-14-2012 , 03:08 PM
oh this is fun i can use the money to play their table games, just can't cash out or play poker with it.
