Is Withdrawing From Full Tilt Impossible? Is Withdrawing From Full Tilt Impossible?

Hi everyone this is my first post to the forum. I've been a long time pokerstars player and finally got tired of the bad beats there so I decided to try full tilt poker out.

I like the play at full tilt poker much more than I do the play at pokerstars. I won a few bucks at FT and decided to make a WD. I sent in my ID and address information and I received an email stating that I have been approved for withdraws.

Now everytime I try to make a WD from FT this screen pops up in my browser http://w.fulltiltpoker.com/withdrawal Nowhere does it ask me how much I'd like to WD. I have contacted FT support without response, which is really frustrating. It's making me want to again find another poker room because FT doesnt seem to care for their customers based on my short time with them. Atleast pokerstars will get back to you right away, Usually within minutes.

Has anyone else had this experience with FT? Is there anything I can do? Thanks so much for your help in advance. This seems like a nice forum and I am certain I will spend lots of time here.

Thanks again!!

This is just so frustrating for me because I really love the play at FT poker and all I want to do is collect the winnings and success that I have enjoyed there thus far. I've tried to contact support but they just simply refuse to email me back.

Anyways thanks for the help guys, but I just dont see how I can continue to play there if it is this much trouble to make a simple WD request. Winning the $ should be the hard part. Collecting should be simple. It seems that I am alone in this experience, but its really discouraging me from playing at FT. Perhaps I should return to pokerstars.

Your browser shouldn't be involved at all in withdrawing. Just click the big red CASHIER button, then WITHDRAWAL and then select your withdrawal method (bank TRANSFERS and checks are free, bank WIRES may have fees taken before it hits your bank). What did you do that launched your browser?

Support at FTP is just slow, but they'll reply eventually.

Yes thats exactly what I do. I log into my account.. click on the BIG RED cashier button. A screen pops up showing my account balance, and other options. I click on the Withdrawal button. A new screen shows up. Im a US player so only 2 options show up for me. Option 1 is CLICK2PAY. The only other option is Check. I then proceed to click Check. I will do it right now as we speak. As soon as I click check this screen pops up in my browser. http://w.fulltiltpoker.com/withdrawal.

Ive sent in all my details, my ID+ address information, I have received a confirmation that my details were approved.

Let me go a little deeper. Maybe this will help you help me. My friend started playing ok FULL TILT. He won some money and sent me some cash. With the cash he sent me I went on a pretty nice winning streak myself. I decided I wanted to WD.

When he transfered me some money before this I had never made a deposit there. Like I said I won a little money and wanted a WD. I sent in my ID and address info and got approved for WD.

Now, I was thinking that possiblly the reason I could not makea WD was because I have never made a deposit. So today I did actually make my first deposit thinking this would perhaps clear the way for me to WD.. But it didnt. So now I just do not know where to turn.

I love FT I love the way the players play there. Its a much better game than pokerstars in my view where I had very little success playing. Now I am at a loss at what I should do. All i want to do is collect my winnings, sit down and play some more poker. But this entire experience has discouraged me.

Atleast I know that none of you have had any problems in this area so maybe the problem will be fixed shortly I hope.

Umm...

Well, let me chime in with I've never had any trouble withdrawing from FTP. If you have a problem, I suspect you have a problem...meaning do we have the full story? Hopefully we do and after you are able to withdraw you will forget you even started a thread on 2+2.

Making a deposit and then following up with an immediate withdrawal request is a bad idea and can only make things worse, unless FTP specifically told you that it was necessary. Deposits and withdrawals cost them money and when money comes in and out that quickly it can only put up a red flag for them. The delay in customer service getting back to you can be frustrating, but you have to be patient.

Ok.. let me go over this again. Maybe I didnt explain this fully, or as clear as I should have. My friend won some money at FT. I opened an account up. With my new account he sent me some cash to play with. At this point I have never made a deposit.

From the funds he sent me I won and wanted to make a withdraw. I went to make a withdraw, and the requirements needed me to send my my PICTURE ID and A bill with my address on it. I did that. Here is a copy of the email I received.

Hello (My first name)

Thank you for sending us the requested documentation.

We are pleased to inform you that your Full Tilt Poker account has been approved for check withdrawals.

Please review your account information before submitting a check request, and follow these three steps if you need to update your mailing address:

1) Open the "Cashier" window.
2) Select "Edit" (next to "Player Information").
3) Enter your details in the spaces provided.

Once your account information is accurate, follow these four steps to submit your check request:

1) In the "Cashier" window, select "Withdrawal".
2) Select "Check" as your withdrawal method.
3) Enter the required information.
4) Review and confirm your request.

Please note the following conditions apply to check requests:

* Players may only request one check per 24-hour period.
* Players may only request two checks per 7-day period.
* Checks are issued for amounts between $100 and $4,000.

Withdrawals are typically processed within 48 hours, and checks average 15 business days for delivery. Business days are Monday through Friday with the exception of bank-observed holidays. Delivery times to destinations outside the continental United States will vary.

Good luck at the tables, and thank you for playing at Full Tilt Poker.

Regards,

Erika
Full Tilt Poker Support

After I got this email I tried to withdraw. I still havent made a deposit at this point. Why would I need to when my account has plenty of winnings in it. I proceeded to request my WD. I did everything it asked. When I clicked check it took me to the browser page I showed you earlier. Again here is the link. http://w.fulltiltpoker.com/withdrawal

Now after trying this 20 times and nothing happened, and not receiving a reply from support, I thought perhaps I need to make a deposit before I could WD. I have heard of some poker rooms requiring a deposit before making a WD. So I then proceeded to make my first deposit. Of $10 today. After I made the deposit AGAIN I tried to WD and nothing has changed.

Now I hope you understand this better.

this is absolutely stupid, I think I know what your problem is. Your withdraw methods has not been activated for whatever reason, that's normal when you first started, but after receiving the documents you have submitted, fulltilt should have activated whatever methods that's available to you. Typically check + bank wire stuff. After that, you will be able to withdraw. At this point, you can only email support and hope to get someone to respond to you.

Fulltilt support is just so so terrible, guess you should play on stars (you can try to get a player-to-player transfer if fulltilt just does not respond), plenty of players swap funds between fulltilt and stars (be careful about scammer though)

That's weird. I don't really know why clicking check would launch your browser. I just tried it right now and it works fine for me. I don't know, maybe reinstall and if that doesn't help (probably won't), you just have to wait for support, I guess. You'll get your money eventually though, just have patience.

ok, definitely don't deposit then

Whatever you do, don't start cussing out their support people. Send one e-mail, give them a couple days to reply. If you still don't hear from them send a polite follow up. They should be MUCH faster than they are, but it is what it is and you'll only screw yourself if you harrass them.

Personally I get responses within a reasonable timeframe most of the time but there have been cases when I haven't. It'll work out in the end, just don't go out of your way to make a deposit at this point or send them tons of e-mails.

I think you've got a bug going on here. If you click "Learn More" or whatever, that guides you to the given website. Is there a button labeled select? Try that, and if not, maybe something is wrong with your software.

I would look here...P2P then a quick WD can easily cause problem...The browser opening seems to be how there system "blocks" WD attempts...

Fill in a time line:
1..Date friend opens account
2..How does friend fund account
3..Date you open account
4..Date of P2P
5..How much you play
6.Date you first attempt to WD..

nope, no one has ever withdrawn money from full tilt, it's a giant ponzie scheme and we're hoping one day that our wire transfers come through!

Ok I cant give a definite timeline. But I will do the best I can.

Me and my buddy have been taking BAD BEAT AFTER BAD BEAT at pokerstars. We have been playing there for years. I did have some success in the past at pokerstars but recently the bad beats got to be too much.

1.Around a month or so ago My friend opened an account.

Hes been playing there alot since then. He won a few hundred bucks. He told me to come open an account there and he would send me some cash. He did.

2.My friend opened an account with a credit card or debit card. I believe
3.Looking at my transaction history He sent his first P2P on december 26th.
So I either signed up on that day or a day or so before that.

4. I've had a few p2ps but the first one was on the 26th as i stated.
5. I ran my money up to 60+ dollars and played in a 50+5 6 player SITNGO.

I won. $195. My first intentions was to WD $100 so I sent in my ID etc.
after this I sent my friend some cash. when we win we always take care of each other. I played in the 55+5 sitn go again the same day...

I won another $195.

Sent another P2P to my buddy.

I played for the same game for the 3rd time. I won Another $195. 3 in a row.

I sent him another P2P.
played again and lost. So I quit for the night.

The next day or I got my approval for WD. So I tried to WD $300, and the problems I have explained began to occur.

My first WD attempt was yesterday. And I have tried several times tonight.

I just reinstalled FT. The same problem keeps occuring.

Anyways i hope this answers your questions. Having said all of this, I am about to sit down at another $55+5 sit n go and hope i can win. If i leave the rest of my $ in my account until I am able to successfully WD.

IMO these P2Ps are your problem...Your account is not locked(you are allowed to play)...You'll need to be patient as FTP looks into what ever they are looking into...It could be you will need to wait until the funds have "cleared" on your friend account...

IMO when you where "cleared" to WD really has no bearing...A cashout esp considering the circumstances you have describe will often trigger a secong look..

FWIW you are now forever tied to those you are making P2P transfers with...What ever they may have or could do will cause you problem also...
