Sorry but I think it´s US gov. Land of freedom!!!! who show no respect for there citizens.
I just made a troublefree cashout from cake to neteller with no fees. They did also respond very quickly to my E-mails.

Anyone made a moneybookers cashout request in last week and have received money? I am waiting from tuesday and my cashout is no longer pending in cashier but money still isn’t in my moneybookers account. Support told me they have some technical problems.

I have the exact same issue/runaround. I've e-mailed and got responses several times in the last few days and they continue to say they're working on the problem and that it should be fixed 'shortly'.

My suggestion is to just keep e-mailing and keep the pressure on.

Wasn't there going to be a new deposit/wd method added this week according to someone with inside info?

Even if that is the case (and I don't believe for a second it costs them $60 or more to cut a check) the rake doesn't go towards expenses related to the business including processing?

I requested a check and I got a popup message that said "this option is no longer available to you." So, I was like sweet I will just withdraw through the neteller option. Then I realized that I still live in the US.

Considering that epassporte levied an 8% fee against Cake for all deposit transactions - which we the users only 'pay' for by taking a hit against your 'gross mgr / rakeback', I would assume that in this era it is fairly expensive to process transactions of anytype.

If you would take the time to email support instead of complaining about it on a message board, you would learn that the $35 is considered a 'courier fee' while Cake absorbs the actual check processing fees. It's highly unlikely that 12th day ground DHL shipments are really $35, but there is certainly some cost being absorbed on their end as well.

I'm in the industry and very well aware of the fees involved. Cake has already told me the processor charges $35 and it is passed on to the player. That's why I called BS on the 'it costs them twice as much'. I'm certainly hopeful these new processors are introduced to help all players. I'm sure it is a top priority.

I always saw those ads where you could make 10k a week stuffing envelopes.. I always thought it was stuffing them with heroin or something, now I realize it's online poker checks.

I asked the person at Cake in charge of processing if they could waive fees on checks while they were waiting for a new processor. He told me that costs are already double what they charge the player. Maybe he wasn't being truthful, but thats straight from the people who own/run Cake.

Not sure why the hostility PA. I'm sure you know I wouldn't just pull it out of my ass.

Yep, I went back and checked the goodbye Cake thread and found the following from poster JSH06, posted on 4/21:

"FWIW, I talk to an employee of Cake pretty regularely & they're introducing several new payment processors in the next month

Here is the time frame from for when their new cashier options will be introduced:

- QuickTender is live
- enhanced credit card capabililty (close to 100% acceptance): within a few days
- eWalletXpress: next week
- MoneyGram / Western Union: 7-10 days
- EFT (withdrawals in 10 days, deposits in 4 weeks)"

Almost 14 days have passed and none of these have come to fruition.

Yeah i would say this guys info was as accurate as anybody who says it costs them 70 bones to cut and send a check.

They wanna charge $35 for a check it oughta be delivered within two days and include a couple of joints.

I think he's just saying cake is full of crap on that. I mean honestly how much can it cost to print up a batch of checks.. and mail them out. I'd move out of the country and process checks for them for $35 a check.

Same but it's still in my account.
Did they pay you already? I guess it's time to move all your money from cake when they can't even pay via Moneybookers. I hope that this isn't the next TUSK...

Hello Annoying player,

Thank you for your email. At present there is a technical issue with withdrawals to Moneybookers. Your cashout request itself has been fully processed and the funds have left your CakePoker account. Once this problem has been resolved the funds will immediately be accessible in your Moneybookers account.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Kind Regards,

Adam

Well thats a bit of a catch 22 considering that we're all discussing how difficult it is to get money off of cake.

meh
I get the same BS answers saying it will be processed in 24-48 hours. My QT withdrawal was initiated 4/29 at 5:45 AM according to Cake's cashier and is still listed as pending. Even Microgaming could process these transactions in a day or two at most.

MoneyBookers replied there are no problems on their side.

I`m pretty sure cake is lying because when they process cashout you get two emails one is from moneybookers and it is standard for all poker rooms, but the second is from "support@cakepoker.com" (it`s unique for cake poker) and it`s probably send DIRECTLY FORM CAKE POKER when cashout person CONFIRMS TRANSACTION. Never got that second email and this is the reason I personaly belive they never processed any cashout.

My bet is they spend all MB money on hookers and blow.
