For what its worth, my first cake check withdrawal went very smooth.

Requested : 9-09
Processed : 9-12
Tracking # : 9-24
Arrived/Deposited : 9-29
Cleared : Within Days

So pretty much three weeks since I requested it, it got here. It had no problems clearing my bank account either. Bank of America didn't even charge me any fees. Hopefully my second withdrawal goes like this too. It takes some time, but at least mine worked out ok.

Usually they approve all the checks for the week on Fridays. However my request that I put in early on Thursday of last week was never approved. Coupled with the people saying they had checks bounce, this makes me pretty concerned.

So is there an update on cashing a paper check at Wells Fargo locations? I see that they used to work fine, but I haven't played on Cake in like 5 months now and have no idea how it's going.

Is that my best route? or do I have to go through the quicktender process?

Do UMW/QT if you can.

If you can't, just deposit the check and give it 6-8 weeks before you use the funds. Trying to cash the check is a bad idea IMO.

I got my second check from cake today. Along with a letter from the check processor.

At least they seem to be aware of problems and are working to fix them.

Whats up guys? Today Cake tells me its going to take 4-8 weeks for ALL withdrawals. I had been using UMW/QT successfully and with pretty quick results. Cake has been processing my latest QT withdrawal for about a week and a half now. Of course I ask if even the QT withdrawal method is subject to 4-8 weeks, and unfortunately I guess it is. (As is a bank wire from Cake). Anyway, having some change tied up in the site, and being financially important to me personally, I can't help but be concerned. Anyone have any suggestions or input on the best approach at this point? Anyone facing a similar situation? Take it easy.

Anyone else been told this? 4-8 weeks for QT? It's an instant ewallet, no excuse to not pay to it next day unless they have major cashflow issues and that doesn't speak well of them staying in business.

These places would most likely tell you to GTFO with an international check. Just put it in a bank.

It stands for do yourself a favor and deposit the check at an ATM and wait for it to clear like a normal person. Don't get involved with shady check cashing places, especially with an international check.

roflol why type of bank are you doing business with ? ...

I think you need to speak with a manager - cause most times the checks just placed on hold for upto 21 days until the funds clear and then the bank pays you out.
