I decided to try out Black Chip Poker after I had some trouble between Bovada and my anti-virus program. The game selection in BC cash games wasn't great, but I had no complaints besides that.

After depositing $15 twice within a week (I play bad), I went to deposit again tonight. This time, it said the deposit was $25, not $10 like it had been previously. I chatted with a customer service rep & she said that the minimum gets bumped up to $25 after the first 24 hours. My first 2 deposits had been four days apart.

I feel a bit disgusted with my experience now. Do they expect me to just give them $25 now just because they said so? I won't do business with a company I can't trust. If they'll change their terms without telling me this early on, how can I trust them to do anything they say? They won't be getting another dime from me.

It costs them money to process your deposits. They can't go on losing money forever.

Complaining that you now need to deposit $25 instead of $15 at a time really doesn't make a whole lot of sense if you need to deposit every couple of days.

When you say that they aren't going to get another dime from you, I have a feeling that you mean that literally.

It also costs them more money than usual given the atmosphere in which online poker works in the US.

I am not 100% clear on what you mean, but I assume that they raised your minimum deposit. This has nothing to do with Black Chip itself, it is likely the network they are on. (Last I heard it was Winning Poker network.)

Regardless, it is likely due to the processing fees involved.

But your reaction is something a lot of these companies may not totally consider. Getting another deposit at a small loss but gaining a long term customer might have some value.

In the past I would have recommended Pokerstars, but since Amaya bought them I can't.

If this is the worst issue you have with a poker site they are doing a world class job (not to say other problems won't arise)

If you have a policy on something as common as deposits, it should be stated. & if you're not going to state it, at least stick to it. If I can't trust them to follow their own policies after a week, why would I trust them with my money for the next few years?

Next time instead of 2x$15 deposits, make 1x$30 deposit = print monies

15$ or 25$ seriously be glad you can still deposit in the us ffs. I hate to break it to you but no matter what your poker goal you aren't go to make any more whether you are playing from 15 or 25. If you are trying to make a go of it save up some real scratch, if you are just messing around than put the 25 in. GL

idont understand why you cant wont simply depiosit 25, like if you can deposit 15 multiple times a week you can surely min deposit 25 as well...its not like a financial issue or a much larger inconvenience.

It states on their website their minimum deposit is $50.

So they did you a favor, likely at a cost to you, and now you're crying about it? My guess is you did not read or even attempt trying to look for their depositing terms and conditions/policies until afterwards.

Actually the deposit page says $10. But that doesn't mean that a player can keep making $15 deposits over the course of days. Common sense should tell anyone that the site is losing money with those mini-deposits.

Haha jeez, some salty responses here... As a relatively broke college kid working on his game, I have no problem admitting I'm stingy with my money. I'm simply explaining my personal experience with the site & why I'd rather deposit my money elsewhere.
