Far more traffic on Merge. It is also growing faster than Cake or Bodog.

Not a lot of data on this, so I decided to make a thread

What are the softest games online available to the US? From what I've read/seen, cash games are solid on Merge, but the MTT are extremely soft. Anyone verify this?

Also, what about stud, omaha, and mixed games? Primarily micro stakes. Thanks

If you want soft opponents, go with Bodog or Cake. The only soft game on Merge right now is PL Stud.

Interesting. Why is Cake so soft. And how soft in comparison to Stars pre 4/15
05-11-2011 , 11:56 PM
cake is soft because no one with a brain would play on that site

Obviously your local casino will have the softest games. I'm shocked that an American would even ask this question at this point, considering how lucky you are to have any pokersite left to play on.

It's night and day when you compare Cake with Merge.

Cake is by far the softest field you will find anywhere, doesn't matter if it is Cash, SNG or MTT. Merge is full of regs but I played a couple of MTTS and there seems to be a lot of bad players also.

Many people believe they will melt like the wicked witch of the west if they get dealt two cards without a HUD to look at.

OP: Hey 2+2, you're a gambler right? A rounder, you play the ponies, small horses.

2+2: I do gamble OP.

OP: Yeah, I was thinking about doing some gambling myself. You know, just a little bit of money. Maybe doubling it, and them doubling it seven more times. I don't know, kind of just for fun. I was thinking, do you have tips, or ideas about sure things. Like a boxer who is going to throw the big fight, you know, like, like he's tied into some crooked dealings, maybe his kid is sick or something. Like, who do I call about that?

no soft games you better run good vs regs

I won the 2002 $2,500 No-Limit Deuce-to-Seven-Draw Tournament at the World Series of Poker in Vegas. So, yeah... I'm pretty good at poker.

Ok, so if I understand correctly.

Cake has the softest games by far, but the site is sketchy so there is a good chance that I will never see the money I win.

Are there any U.S. sites that do not have a casino? That was one thing I loved about Full Tilt and Pokerstars. They did not have any casino games. Just curious or am I just out of luck right now.
