full ring imo. but in what measure, like per hour or hands. full ring you can multitable more but 6max you have to pay more attention so less tables, hu i have no experience.
also in 6max i find its easier to get your opponent to go all in on a hand conpared to full ring.

also depends heavily on how you play and/or adjust between game types. but alot of people on here say you should play both 6max and fullring to stop yourself getting bored and also having the ability to adjust between.

So the answer seems to clearly be full ring. Counter-intuitive to me since I would have thought full ring strategies and math to be the most well-documented. But I guess it simply attracts less skilled players.

Am I correct in assuming that the overall top earners tend to make their bank in heads-up, rather than multi-tabling full ring or shorthanded? (not that this means heads-up is more profitable, just that better players play it)

Nope, have no intention of actually getting all that serious into online poker. I mainly just play with my friends. I just have a finance/economic background and I'm curious about stuff like this.

Full Ring is easiest by far. Play tight against loose donks. Flop set and collect. Also you can play 24 tables full ring rather easily.

full ring is by far the easiest, because a lot of good players refuse to play it because OMGZZ ITS FULL RING AND ITZ FULL OF NITS!11!!!

If you dont believe me, go tableratings every 5/10 player's winrates at full ring and 6-max. Youll see that fullring is like 2-3ptbb/100 higher on average.

id say its a tie between heads up and 6-max. Depends on how good you are to adjusting and adapting. The better you are at these things the more you should play HU.
